"Mutterings of a Kind-Hearted Prince"

"Zaijohn's phenomenon"
A phenomenon in which something that initially seems uninteresting or strange gradually develops a sense of familiarity and liking for it.

Among the many events we hold at Layout, the rugs selected for our popular "Weird Rug Exhibition" are loved by our customers. From the moment we meet them, they are waiting in a special waiting room for the "Weird Rug Exhibition," like actors waiting for their turn on stage in an important performance.
During the event, it is loved by unique customers along with many other tribal rugs, and is promoted from a ``strange rug'' to a ``special rug'' before setting off on its journey.

Having seen off many things from far across the ocean that were destined to become "strange rugs," I would like to introduce this piece to you today and I would like to talk more passionately about it than ever before so that you will love it.

Komatsu watched as this rug, which had been selected for two "Strange Rug Exhibitions," silently left for the waiting room without anyone coming to pick it up, and he has now decided to leave it in the shop, even though it is not an event period, and to highlight it so that it can be passed on to someone perfect for it.
Just like Tsukikage sensei from "Glass Mask." Or like Danpei Tange from "Ashita no Joe." (Sorry, this is from the Showa era.)

As you can see, this is a rather "unusual" piece, but the more you look at it, the more its charming aspects emerge.

This man has cuticle-like hair.
The way he was wearing his well-tailored clothes made me think he was a prince from some country (or so I thought).
The thing hanging from his shoulder may be a gun, but thinking of it that way is a little scary, so try to imagine it as a cute floral walking stick.
A man with beautiful hair and well-tailored clothes, carrying a stylish walking stick, sits by a pond where goldfish and ducks swim. This is an important place where he can return to his youth without anyone knowing. The goldfish fits in the palm of his hand, yearning for the kind-hearted prince.
She may be asking the prince, "Hey, why hasn't anyone come to pick us up?" It looks like she's muttering, "I wonder... A wonderful person will appear soon..." (It looks like she's saying that.)
While the prince fulfills his duty of protecting his country, he enjoys some relaxing time off with the animals.

Although the design has changed, the weave is tight and fine, and the colors are very beautiful, with the weaver's attention to detail evident everywhere.

They are so particular about how they express similar colors so well.

These unique designs are so unique that if they are not made with high-quality weave or sturdy wool material, they will end up looking cheap.
It is this kind of design that gives us a glimpse of the pride that goes into paying attention to every detail in this rug.

It doesn't have to be to everyone's taste.
I would like to send these words to those of you who say, "I love this! I'll take this child!"

If your personality is too distinctive, it's because others can't keep up with you ( Walt Disney)

We look forward to hearing from you while overlooking the Meguro River.
