Hello! This is Uchii from the Naha store.
The mornings and evenings are finally getting cooler in Okinawa, and my favorite season has arrived.
It got a lot colder last week! (Though it was still just below 20°C...)
I also took this opportunity to wear a knitted sweater.
We recommend the delicious soup from Layout Cafe on such a cold day!

I finally managed to try all the soups (5 types) the other day.
My favorite is the rich shrimp bisque and baguette sandwich set, packed with the delicious flavor of shrimp.
(My husband can't forget how delicious it was and keeps asking me to get some takeout!)
Layout Cafe is currently holding a Nordic vintage fair.
There is a wide selection of vintage furniture made in Denmark between the 1950s and 1980s.
Our staff will also be standing in front of the cafe to introduce our furniture!
The rugs spread throughout the store are also lovely.

I rarely go to work at a cafe, and since there are so many cute rugs,
Today's RUG is Good will feature a photo from layout cafe♫

This runner goes perfectly with the ice blue Oxford chair currently on display.
The navy adds a touch of class to the natural space.

The geometric pattern has an inorganic and cool impression, but the cute animals hiding within make it feel warm and comforting.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

At this time of year, when you see the combination of beige and red, or red and green,
It somehow reminds me of Christmas,
This really does look like a Christmas wreath and tree.
A large candy cane (white and red peppermint flavored cane) supports the tree (because it's a cane...)

And on the border, confetti? or ribbons? fluttered about like crazy!
It's like the countdown in Times Square!
It's packed with excitement for the New Year holidays.
Always

Okinawa's traditional Minsa weaving has
"To be happy forever and ever in the (five) world (four)"
There are five and four kasuri patterns that convey the meaning of ``the five and four kasuri patterns.''
Women give them to men as a token of their love,
It is believed to have the power to protect loved ones like a talisman.
Minsa weaving has been given as a gift to loved ones.
It looks very similar to the X pattern often used in tribal rugs!
This also contains the wish that happiness will continue forever.
Minsa weaving is said to have been introduced from the Middle East and Afghanistan via China around the 16th or 17th century.
Maybe they have the same roots!
Learning the meaning of the patterns makes it even more fun and makes you feel more attached to the rug.
Warming up with soup from layout cafe,
Be sure to check out the rugs and vintage furniture!
Wishing you all lots of happiness next year!
