"Brown Gradation Delusion"

Hello, this time from Nakameguro.
It's been a while, this is Akiyama.

It's been a busy month since the new year began, and time flies.

It's still cold every day, but how are you all doing?
It's important to be careful of changes in your health, such as catching a cold or pollen.

Well, here is the one I chose this time.

Some of you may be thinking, "Oh my!", that looks delicious.

Isn't it a bittersweet ragù like caramel?

Or maybe chocolate?

Let's take a closer look -

From the dark and bitter parts

A glossy plain part that has been carefully tempered

And then there are the creamy parts with a lot of milk lined up in order.

Just looking at it makes you feel as if you are enveloped in a sweet and fragrant aroma.

Speaking of caramel, my first-grade daughter

My daughter always thought that the camel-colored school bag she bought before entering school was a delicious caramel-colored school bag.

It would be sad and unrealistic to erase that feeling, so I think I'll just leave it as caramel for a while.

My daughter is a big foodie and today she went to school full of energy with a huge caramel on her back, complaining that it was cold lol

Above and below the fringe are stylishly decorated with flat-woven kilim ends, called kilim ends.

I like this kilim end, it feels like it was made with great care and the change in texture makes it seem much more high quality.

What's more, the top and bottom of this rug have completely different volumes, with the bottom being a generous 10cm and the top being about 1.5cm.

Looking at a 10cm section of the kilim, you can see that it is designed with finely and evenly woven weft threads, giving it a simple yet somehow warm feel.

I also love the fringe part.

The wool yarn has a rustic feel, perhaps due to its mottled pattern, and the subtle dyeing gives it a sense of unity with the rug, even though it is just the warp thread.

I know this sounds like a no-brainer, but it's not actually that important, and I think the warp threads are important!

This pattern has a brown base with dark navy lines, giving it a sexy and mature feel.

It's kind of like F◯NDI?

Having said that,

When I was looking at the swirling pattern

That reminds me! A cute girl I met the other day suddenly came to mind.

Yes, there was a baby toy poodle that was this color.

With their small, round eyes sparkling, they were playing enthusiastically, jumping around, but when they were leaving, their eyes were watery and they looked lonely.

Oh my gosh!! What is this! It makes me so happy♡

And so it was that Chibi completely captured my heart.

Such subjective thinking continues to explode

When you look at the ◯◯◯ pattern that surrounds this rug?

It looks like the curtain of dried persimmons from the dried persimmon shop next door that spreads out in front of the veranda of my parents' house in autumn.

The beautiful orange color that gradually changes with the cold weather makes you feel the arrival of winter.

It's sticky, sweet and delicious.

I recommend eating it as is, adding it to pickled vegetables, frying it in tempura, or adding it to cereal yogurt as dried fruit.

And ♡ the white line that surrounds the center of the heart-shaped tree design is slightly concave, giving the rug a three-dimensional look and tightening the overall atmosphere.

It's soft and has a calming overall color.

Why not place it next to your bed to help you relax?

If you just stare at it, I'm sure many more ideas will come to mind.
