"Twilight Village"

Hello, this is Akiyama from the Nakameguro store.

Hello everyone, the rainy season has begun in Tokyo and it's hot and humid, but there have been relatively many sunny days this year, so it's nice to have a day like that to refresh yourself and your rug.

It's finally July, and that's right, summer vacation is already here in the second half! Time flies, and in conversations with my kids, we've been hearing about things they want to do this summer, and they all say they definitely want to go camping again this year.

It seems that the children are starting to imagine fun summer camping trips, such as who they will go with, where they will go, and what they will eat.

Meanwhile, the other day

This cute Real Camp girl was spotted amongst our newly arrived rugs!

The vertical pattern on this long rug creates depth in the connected scenes, making it seem as though you are in a story with a beginning, development, climax, and conclusion.

First, there is a large frame with spade ♠️ trees stylishly arranged in a diamond shape.

Many cute round flowers bloom, giving a sense of abundance.

In the first village in the foreground, there are two lovey-dovey birds, both of which are so red it's almost embarrassing/// There is a drooping willow tree and a peacock, perhaps, which looks like it is protecting the village.

In the second settlement, a three-story pagoda stands tall, and dinosaur-like dromedaries and tulip-colored swans live together in harmony. Durian-like trees are also quite eye-catching.

This time we will be staying in a tent in the third village. We will be tying the ropes tightly and hammering in the pegs to prevent the square tent from being blown away by the wind. Dogs are running around and it seems that foxes live at the foot of the mountain.

And here are my top picks for this rug:

Diamond Fuji !

So it's a campsite at the foot of Mount Fuji?

What a nostalgic sunset scene

In my hometown of Yamanashi Prefecture, this phenomenon can often be seen around sunset time for about four and a half months from autumn to winter.

It can be viewed from various locations, but Lake Yamanaka is known as the "holy land of Diamond Fuji" because it can be enjoyed for a relatively long period of time.

The combination of "Inverted Fuji," where Mount Fuji can be seen upside down on the surface of the ocean, and "Diamond Fuji" is truly divine and mystical.

Also, in a village a little above my hometown, you can see Diamond Fuji on New Year's Day, attracting people from all over the country who come with their cameras. If I can get up early enough, I'll definitely be able to see it next year!

Well, I got a little too excited about Diamond Fuji.

Birds fly freely across the evening sky, perhaps returning to their nests.

The heartwarming village scenery is soothing.

Gabbeh rugs have longer pile than tribal rugs, making them softer and more comfortable to walk on, and this unique design makes it perfect for placing in front of the sofa in the living room, as well as by the bed or in a child's room.

Looking at the size, it seems like it will fit in neatly without interfering with furniture or other items.

You can also roll it up and carry it around, making it perfect for inside a tent or on a cot when camping.

Come on! Let's go camping this summer!
