Monsters of Kokiri Forest

This is a sudden question, but do you all play video games?

When staff member MK was in elementary school, he would often play games all night long, influenced by his older brother.

He especially loved RPG games. He loved "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" more than the popular Pokemon (very early versions), and he had completed it dozens of times, becoming such an otaku that he would complete a story that was designed to take days to complete in just one night.

I'm in my late twenties and I'm from the Nintendo 64 generation. At the time, the quality of the visuals seemed incredibly beautiful, and I loved everything about it, not just the story, but the visuals, music, and worldview.

This may seem like a bit of a sudden topic, but the main topic today is this rug.

The moment I noticed this lag, I had flashbacks to my love for games back then and couldn't help but write this column...

Please take a good look.
First, here is the direction.
If you look closely, you'll see that the vermilion base color is nicely accented with light green and sax blue threads.

Did you understand?

Let's get a little closer...

What is this creature?! (lol)
The one-eyed creature is lying flat out with a grin on its face.

So cute... (laughs)

His appearance is like a template for a low-level enemy character, which is quite adorable.

Next, let's try going against the grain.

A common thing with handmade rugs is that the colors change.
You know what I'm trying to say, right?

Zoom.

There he was, here too...

Wow, it looks weak (lol)
You're laughing a lot.
And this guy who accidentally appeared in the photo looks a bit wrong, doesn't he? (laughs)

Hmm, I wonder who these kids are.

I can't take my eyes off this rug, as I'm so curious as to what motif the weaver used to weave this pattern.

By the way, there are 9 light green ones and 11 sax blue ones. The fact that they are mass-produced also makes them very much like weak characters.

This character never appeared in the game I loved, but I have a sense of déjà vu, as if it wouldn't be out of place if he did.

The moment I saw it, I thought, "Oh, there's some kind of enemy character," and from then on, memories of my childhood just kept coming back to me.

I'm sure there are many other good things about this rug if you look for them, but these rugs have such a strong impact that they qualify as a favorite rug just for that.

This is a bit off topic, but I think anyone who played games on the Super Nintendo or N64 will understand, but when the cartridge connection got bad, you would blow on the back of the cartridge. (laughs)

Now that I'm an adult, I wonder what effect that had.

It's interesting how a single rug can bring back memories from your childhood.

The game console and cartridges I used back then have been sleeping at my grandmother's house for a long time, and I think they're probably no longer usable, but I'm itching to play them again after such a long time.

Now that I'm an adult, it's nice to relax on a nice rug and play games.

This time, we ended up talking more about games than lag, but this is also one way to enjoy lag...

Be sure to check it out in store or online.
