"Unexplored Land"

The Gabbehs that traveled from the west to Tokyo have now arrived in Okinawa.

I like them all, but I would like to focus on this one that stands out the most.

How many times have I written about Gabbeh?

We will report back at the next RUG is Good!

Although there are large temperature differences during this season, it is the most comfortable season and I love it.

Don't you just want a rug this season?

This is the Gabbeh we recommend for you, so please stay with us for a little while.

First, let's look at the styling.

This sideboard is made of teak, which we also featured last time.It has a heavy feel and a matte look compared to rosewood, which is one of the reasons I love it.

More will be released in the future, so we may provide more details each time!

A brass rack and folding chairs are styled to create a light feel.

We select items to match the look of the rug.

When it comes to creating a resort-like atmosphere, the options are limited, but it is clear that Gabbeh acts as a balancer for the overall look.

I hope that those who are attracted to this animal will look at it and spend their time lounging around with it... That's what I want.

Welcome to the "Unexplored Land"...

Introducing the high quality of Gabbeh!

No, it's the original type.

First of all, I was captivated by this beautiful expression.

Blue and green abrasion! A photo alone doesn't do it justice, so we'll send you a video if you'd like.

Now to the main topic.

The grass grows thickly around the waterfront

A hidden place reached in search of peace from the hustle and bustle of the world.

Imagine a landscape where the only sounds you can hear are the wind and the water.

It's also important to spend time imagining unrealistic worlds.

The magnificent tree growing in the water is over 100 years old and has a mysterious appearance (this is a world of imagination).

Just lying on the grass and looking at the trees is soothing.

Sometimes I imagine taking a walk along the waterfront to get some exercise and take a break.

Maybe it's because I'm a rug shop owner that I imagined people spreading out portable accent-sized rugs on the grass, rather than picnic sheets...

Shimofuri

Shimofuri patterns floating on the water's edge.

Doesn't it look like it's snowing in the water?

Summer snow... I remember hearing about a phenomenon in the ocean where plankton looks like snow in a TV drama when I was a student, and it crossed my mind. I think I may have talked about this on an Instagram Live before...

I would love to see such a fantastic view.

I depicted it as a tree growing above water, but does it look like coral?

Maybe even someone who isn't in Okinawa can think of this.

Coral, which keeps the ocean beautiful, is an essential part of Okinawa's ocean.

Typhoons frequently hit the area, which affects daily life, but they stir up the ocean water and lower the water temperature, so typhoons may be a blessing for the coral.

Gabbeh rugs are a reminder of the importance of cherishing nature.

/The left side is the color from the opposite direction

/The right side is the color from the grain direction

You can enjoy the look of your interior by changing the carpet depending on the season or your mood. Choose your favorite design and enjoy the changes in color tone!

I don't like shiny colors, I like darker shades that come straight from the grain.

The reverse grain is the color of the sky, and the clouds may be shaped like trees? (Just a fantasy...)

I hope you all find your favorite angle and enjoy living with a rug.

lastly···.

I was so captivated by the newly arrived Gabbeh that I decided to introduce it again this time.

I hope you will enjoy touching, looking at, and admiring the rugs.

Until next time ♪
