"Lots of onomatopoeia"

Hello.

Time flies and January is already over.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our New Year's event!

Reading the haiku, I was reminded once again of how much rugs are loved in people's homes.

To everyone who couldn't participate, I hope you'll join us next time and enjoy the thrills and excitement!

This year too, I will continue to work hard to increase the number of rugby friends!

First of all, the staff I work with often tell me that I use a lot of onomatopoeia!

That's because I feel that onomatopoeia can convey the texture and atmosphere you feel, or the worldview that comes to mind, better than nouns alone!

Nouns cannot go beyond the scope of the word, but don't you think that adding onomatopoeia can add warmth and texture?

For example, when you hear the term "fluffy bread," do you imagine a rounded loaf of bread with no sharp edges? Perhaps you can even smell the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread?

When I hear the term "hard bread," I think of hard, baked bread that has been around for a few days.

...But I don't know. I often get told this.

But here, RUG is GOOD!

Let me share it as I feel it!

The rug we are introducing here has a rhythmic pattern that looks as if it is woven with many onomatopoeia sounds.

Why don't you join us in searching for onomatopoeia?

1. The hero's sword emerges from the darkness

The sword, which can only be drawn by those chosen by it, responds to the chosen one at this very moment, awakening from its long slumber. In the midst of a rustling✨ of light, the sword is drawn with a bang✨.

2. Drops of water spilling from a garden fountain

A fountain with abundant water gushing forth. It always flows down, basking in the sunlight. When the gentle breeze blows, the water droplets fall on the surrounding flowers, bringing blessings.

3. Musical Instruments Used in Shinto Ritual

Kagura bells (instruments with many bells attached to the handle) are essential for the annual Shinto ritual.

As the chimes ring out in the solemn darkness, you can take a deep breath of crisp air and exhale, purifying both your body and mind.

4. Busy Mornings

Amidst the bustle of people coming and going, I nervously check the route map on the platform to see where my destination is.

To get to your destination, the line branches off from a certain station, so you can't get lost.

I can hear a lot of onomatopoeia like this coming from this rug...I'm excited to see how many of you will be able to relate to it.

Of course, the actual rug isn't quite as lively...

Rather, it is a calming piece with a deep dark brown base and vermilion accents.

Its length is 223cm, so it would also be great to place in front of a large three-seater sofa!

I think you will enjoy the calm color and the relatively thick feel.

It also has a touch of green in it, so pairing it with some houseplants will create a more relaxing space.

!!

It even looked like a spiky potted cactus!

This seems endless...

Come visit us in Nakameguro! Spread out a rug and let's search for onomatopoeia together!!
