"Healing Dream"

As always, Suzuki will be introducing Gabbeh again this time!

That's because when this child returned from a long business trip, I couldn't help but mutter to myself, "Welcome back!!"

I missed you!! It's been a long time!

Let's leave it at that.

Am I the only one who thinks that it is both Gabbeh-like and not Gabbeh-like? I would like to introduce some points to you.

I always talk about Gabbeh, but I also like tribal rugs... But... Gabbeh! LOL

Let's get started!

From the grain direction

First, let's compare the first and second images!

At first glance, the colors appear pop, but the blue and brown base color scheme gives it a mature impression.

However, the accent colors, which include the basic Gabbeh colors (beige, yellow, green, blue, and red), are sure to appeal to children.

Don't you think it's a beautiful design, like balloons floating in the blue sky and coloring it? This idea might seem childish, but even adults will find the calming color scheme so relaxing that they can't help but stare blankly at the balloons coloring the sky.

I somehow think that way.

As I always say, it's not childish at all, so please bear with me as I continue this story.

With the grain? Or against the grain?

Did you notice?

Amazingly, the design is symmetrical!

The beautiful balance of colors and motifs is so impressive that it's difficult to spot the differences.

This is just my image of Gabbeh, but isn't it something that isn't too neat? However, it has a refined atmosphere that doesn't seem like Gabbeh. That's one of the things I love about it though.

The darker colours are laid with the grain and the lighter colours are laid against the grain, depending on the direction of the pile. By changing the direction you lay it, you can create a seasonal feel.

Spring/Summer: Apply in the opposite direction for a brighter look

Autumn/Winter: Applying in the direction of the grain creates a calm impression

I think it's fine to change the way you lay your Gabbeh depending on your mood, and don't you feel like you've gained something by simply changing the look of your interior?

Blue is said to have a calming effect on the mind, and it seems to have a soothing effect.

Competitive fortune telling

Am I the only one who sees this as a competitive fortune telling show on a certain morning TV show?

It may no longer be on the air, but maybe that's just because I don't watch much TV and I'm not familiar with it.

Choose your favorite animal and compete to predict your fortune for the day! Which lane panel will be the first to reach the flower-filled area?

Children might want to place some figures there and have fun racing them!

Just imagining or looking at such things makes me excited.

Favorite Panels

The panels' gentle colors are somehow soothing.

Pale tones of blue, yellow, and green framed in deep blue

Just looking at it makes me feel kind.

The decoration of animals and the tree of life gives a sense of the richness of nature.

I would like to say that my favorite color is blue, but it's actually the vitamin-colored yellow.

It's so good to see the three animals walking together in harmony! They're always positive, and even when things get tough, they seem to be able to overcome them with a positive attitude.

What's your favorite panel?

Actually, there are four more, so please read to the end.

A beautiful flower?

Given the current season, the motif looks like snow is covering the leaves and trees.

But red is different! It's a flower that blooms in winter!

Although it doesn't bloom in winter, it might be a cosmos flower. Apparently, its flower language is "unfading love" and "unchanging love."

Just having it in the living room where you spend time with your family will make you feel happy.

Doesn't the mint green Tree of Life on the border look like the arrows in Mario Kart? When you step on it, it accelerates like crazy.

It looks like you can drive a car and have fun.

Bird's-eye view

The whole picture is finally coming into view!

Deep blue, mottled blue, it's like being in a dream.

It's soothing to the soul, easy on the eyes, and may even appear in your dreams...

・Dreaming of playing in a flower field: adults and children

・Dreaming of relaxing at the beach...adult

・Dreaming of flying balloons into the sky: Adults, children

It may seem like I'm arbitrarily associating this with a design that can be enjoyed by both adults and children, but I believe I'm not wrong!

Field view

It's amazing how it's so lively yet doesn't feel flashy.

A design that is cool, cute, and beautiful.

There's nothing to be said for it. Is there anything else? lol

You start to doubt yourself for praising too much.

And finally...

This thickness...

Yes! This is the thickness that Gabbeh is known for!!!

You can relax on your days off or sit on the sofa.

It doesn't put strain on the body and it feels comfortable.

Adults and children alike are captivated by the fluffy Gabbeh.

Wouldn't it be nice to match it with a child's room? I can hear that voice for some reason...lol

I'm sure there are many people who don't want to use too much color, but choose a design you like and enjoy your lifestyle!

It might be a good idea to keep it nearby as a soothing item.

See you later.

I wonder if the next one will be Gabbeh too...
