This may be a sudden question, but what does a tree mean to you?
Trees are found in many places.
I'm always by your side.
Is there anyone who doesn't have trees nearby? No, there isn't.
Because we'd be in trouble if there were no trees.
Trees are amazing.
Trees absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
Trees absorb rain and prevent landslides.
Trees give us a lot of power to help us live rich lives.
The reason why looking at trees brings peace to our hearts is probably because there is a deep connection between trees and people.
You might be thinking, "How many times am I going to say tree?"
With that in mind, I would like to introduce this Gabbeh to you today.

A large, straight tree with two slender trees on either side of it, and deer relaxing beneath them - it's a truly heartwarming sight.
Kodama-chan
Perhaps because blue is the main color of this Gabbeh, it has a somewhat mysterious atmosphere.
But maybe that's not entirely wrong.
Since ancient times, it has been said that gods and spirits reside in trees, and I think everyone can imagine worshiping a tree.

Three trees with a beautiful contrast between dark and light blue.
Depending on the viewing angle and distance, it may appear whitish.
Perhaps these pale-colored trunks and leaves are echoes...?
Due to the influence of the movie "Princess Mononoke," when I think of an echo, all I can think of is that cute, white, round thing.
Perhaps Kodama is hiding among the pale colors scattered here and there among the clear blue background other than the trees.
Forest bathing
Four deer facing each other.
The bright yellow stands out against the blue.
If it were a thermograph, the temperature would be just right.
They must have been refreshed by forest bathing. The power of nature to make both the mind and body healthy is amazing.
Healthy longevity
As it is often featured on RUG is Good, many people may already know this, but the tree motif symbolizes good health and longevity.
Iran, where Gabbeh is woven, is said to have the second longest-lived yarn in the world.
The tree is said to be between 4,000 and 4,500 years old, rivaling the long history of carpets!
When you look at a large tree, you can feel its strength and energy.
It makes you want to lean on it and recharge.
These deer must have been drawn to the tree's embracing nature and felt a sense of security.
It's crowded
It's hard to convey this plumpness in a photograph.

This Gabbeh is of high quality, so it is finely woven and very dense compared to the original type of Gabbeh.

The weave is fine and the thickness is good.
Another recommended point is that it combines both design and comfort.
Living with trees
Did you know that about 70% of Japan's land area is covered by forests?
Well, it's close at hand.
I wonder if there was a magnificent tree in the place in Iran where this Gabbeh was woven.
It may be difficult to plant a tree inside your home, but a Gabbeh rug with a tree motif will surely bring a wonderful touch to your life.
Why not start living with wood?
