"Let's play turtle scooping!"

Hello everyone! This is staff member F.
The rainy season has finally arrived.
I used to imagine it raining every day during this time of year, but the weather has been nice lately so for me the rainy season is almost over haha. However, this humid humidity just won't go away, so every morning my hair gets frizzy, which reminds me that the rainy season isn't over yet.
I hope the clear, sunny weather of summer will come soon.

So the rug we'd like to introduce to you today is one that will remind you of the turtle scooping game at summer festivals!

Take a look! The turtle shells are neatly laid out from edge to edge!
They are lined up neatly without disrupting the queue ^^

Because of their small size, they look cute even when crowded together like this.

And even though I'm writing this, I've actually never seen a real turtle scooping event, and of course I've never experienced it.

I'm just speaking from admiration!

I often heard stories about turtle scooping from my mother, so it's something I definitely want to try someday.

However, when I was researching turtle scooping to write this RIG, I came across a lot of sad articles.
It turns out that turtle scooping at summer festivals may be illegal.
The reason I say "may" is that following a revision to the Animal Welfare Act in 2013, businesses that sell turtle scooping at street stalls or events are now required to register.
However, it seems that some businesses are setting up stores without registering, which makes it illegal.
Additionally, it seems that green turtles (red-eared sliders) are often used for turtle scooping, but they have a long lifespan, and if they are abandoned and released into rivers, they have a negative impact on the ecosystem and are therefore subject to extermination.
The disruption of ecosystems by invasive species has been a problem for some time, and it is very sad to see turtles being bought, abandoned, and exterminated by humans at their own whim.

For this reason, I don't think I'll try turtle scooping in the future, even if I come across it.

Yes. It suddenly became like a report presentation, but in reality, it became difficult to "catch turtles at the summer festival."

(Ahh, a dreamscape)

But I'm not giving up yet!
I am known for my rich imagination and imagination!

First, get ready.
All you need is a turtle shell rug and the feeling that you are at a festival.
(It's even better if you have a poi container)

Now all you have to do is use your imagination to move the turtle!

Move!
Move!
Things are gradually moving

The S-shaped patterns around it also began to look like flowing water.
The dark red is also a nice color that reminds me of Japanese festivals!
You can almost hear the sound of the festival drums.

Have you decided which child you're going to pick up?
It's quite difficult to judge based on the shell alone, but we are confident that we will cherish and love each and every one of them!

I can already imagine taking my new pet for a walk in the garden on a rainy day and playing with it...lol

By the way, this is what I'm aiming for.

The reason is that it seems easier to scoop up if you corner it.
If there are any scooping experts reading this, I'd love to hear your tips.

Also, I think it would be very auspicious to style your room by layering it with a crane-shaped bird rug.

Finally, we'd like to have a quiz!

How many turtles are in this rug?

A.135
B.184
C.229
D.317

*If you can see even a little, it counts as 1.

The correct answer is

It was C.229!
(Sorry if there are any counting mistakes)

What did you all think?
Did you win?

There won't be any prizes if you win, but I'd be happy if you could have a little fun!

Until next time~
