Hello everyone.
The hot weather is still continuing, how are you doing?
At Layout, we are currently in the middle of health checks on the new rugs that arrived from the region in early August.
I check the condition of each piece, excitedly saying, "This one is cute, that one is lovely."
This time, I would like to introduce one photo that caught my eye and is incredibly cute in pink.

It's always a thrilling moment when we open the many rugs that arrive folded from the local area.
Among them, this rug caught my eye instantly, and when I spread it out I fell in love at first sight with its pale pink color, like strawberry milk!
In the previous issue of Rug is Good, we introduced a beautiful vivid pink rug.
This time, I'm captivated by the opposite, milky pink.
But soon after weaving begins, the thread changes and we see a rich strawberry sauce zone.

The mottled color that gradually appears as milk mixes in is truly exquisite.

The overall color has a sweet impression, but the moderate sheen also gives this rug an elegant look.
The color of the fringe also gives it a mature feel.

In the center is a chocolate waterway with six diamond-shaped designs representing water sources.
The pale pink and contrasting dark brown give the rug a cohesive look.

The "Tree of Life" represents health and longevity, and the "Eight-Pointed Star" represents happiness, hope, and protection from evil.
Each motif is designed large, and if you pay attention to the color and shape you can see their individuality.

Neat jagged edges and slightly clumsy jagged edges.
Did she run out of thread somewhere along the way, did she decide not to hem it, or did she just give up?

As you can see, the eight-pointed stars are all unique.

The frame is decorated with flowers in lovely colours.

However, as you follow the flower, its shape gradually becomes distorted, and it takes on a completely different design that no longer resembles the original.
It just looks like a blue horror man.

And what animal is this?
It's either a deer or a goat, but the one with the antlers is probably a male, with the female following behind.

Tribal rugs, which originated as tools used by nomads, are said to have been influenced in design by everyday elements of daily life.
This design also makes me imagine that it represents an animal carrying saddlebags that accompany it in its daily life.
You'll never get bored of it because you can feel the warmth and laughter that only handwoven items can have.
The more you look at it, the more you discover new things and the more you grow to love it.
Try a sweet finish by matching it with a pure white sofa, or enjoy the contrast by combining it with furniture in subdued colors.
This is a piece that you will want to relax on while looking at the unique motifs on the rug.
