When I look at my senior staff, I always think they're quite perverted, but as I was vacuuming this morning, I thought that maybe all humans are actually quite perverted, and the only difference is whether they show it in a way that others can see or not. I think there isn't that much difference in the total amount of perversion that people have, and that people who let the amount of perversion that leaks out are the ones who are called "perverts" in society.
The pervert in me is still waiting to see what happens, but when I see a strange rug, it resonates with me and makes me want to show my face a little.
This time's lag.

There's a lot of information, so let's go through it piece by piece.
1. A dog clinging to your back

Have you noticed? There's a dog on the bird's back. It's probably a golden retriever. It feels a little forced, and it reminds me of Chiba's mascot, Chiba-kun. And yet, once you see it, it's a terrifying creature that puts a curse on you, making you see nothing but that dog.

2.Yagawa

And here is "Yakawa". It says "Yakawa". I guess the bird's name is Yakawa-san. It's written in a dynamic brushstroke like sumo wrestler calligraphy. It's very stylish.
3. Anthill

I think the bump with the bird on it is an anthill. This rug uses a bold perspective, and judging from the size of the bird, it must be a fairly large anthill. Judging from the shape of the anthill, it might be termites. I've heard that in Australia there is a fun tradition of playing with underwear on an anthill, but this anthill has not yet been decorated. I can only imagine what kind of transformation it will undergo in the future.
4. Three legs

There is a three-legged deer. In Japan, three-legged animals are associated with the Yatagarasu, a mythical creature, but I wonder if there are any stories about three-legged deer in Iran as well. I'm not sure. When I was a child, I was given a three-legged pig charm made in South America, which was said to bring good luck, so perhaps this three-legged deer will also bring me a lot of good fortune.
5. Butterfly

Don't you think it has a rather strange shape? There is something else growing out between the two antennae. After thinking about it for a while, I came to the conclusion that it might be an extension of the straw-like, spiraling mouth known as a butterfly's proboscis. The general image is of it being coiled up, but depicting it in an extended state is a novel way of expressing it.
It's genius to create such a fun world in just a 40cm square. This little rug quietly reminds us how meaningful it is to use our imagination in the small world right in front of us, especially now that we can't travel far. We hope you'll come and enjoy the rug to take a break.
