Today, July 7th, is Tanabata.
The rug we are introducing this time is a rug that looks like the Milky Way.

That said, what I'm introducing to you is the red Milky Way.

This vintage rug is about 80 years old and is as spacious as the heavens, and has the feeling that it has stood the test of time, which makes me feel excited.
The worn feeling is also nice.

Stars, birds, and various other things flow like stardust in the Milky Way.
Stardust rolling and flowing gently over the soft, sophisticated red.
It's romantic...

The diamond-shaped sandbar is perhaps the place where Orihime and Hikoboshi enjoyed their rendezvous.
Oh, there's an S-shaped motif here.
The S-shaped pattern is said to represent a talisman or the bond between men and women,
It's the perfect place to meet once a year.

The story of the Tanabata legend

The daughter of the Emperor of Heaven, Orihime, wove beautiful fabrics.

He introduced them to the cowherd, Hikoboshi.
The two quickly fell in love and eventually got married.

The couple enjoyed married life so much that they ended up neglecting their work and playing around.
Then the heavenly garments fell into disuse and the cattle became thin.

The enraged Emperor separated the two men to the east and west sides of the river.
Then they became so sad that they refused to work any more.
He allowed the two to meet once a year on the condition that they work hard.

Both Orihime and Hikoboshi are extremely lazy.
You don't work whether you're together or apart!
At the same time, I wanted to say,
Regardless of the fact that she is a princess, Orihime, her husband, Hikoboshi, needs to work a little.
On the other hand, they can only meet once a year, and only on rainy days.
