Since the last article, "What comes to mind when you think of red...?", I've been thinking about what kind of rug to introduce...
Hmm, I think I would like to continue making Gabbeh carpets.
This time we have a Gabbeh with a panel design that will draw you in the more you look at it.
Chic and calm color scheme.
It has a cute side, but can also be worn in a cool way!
We will introduce some recommended points, so please join us for a little while as we explore the world of Suzuki Gabbeh.

Welcome to the world of monochrome!
There are various expressions such as gingham check, checkered patterns, and panels.
The beige, gray, and charcoal gray color scheme gives off a fashionable impression.
Mode can be perceived as "trend," but it can also mean monochrome or inorganic colors, so people's perceptions of it may vary.
We believe that monochrome Gabbehs are timeless, can be enjoyed for many years, and are a versatile color that is not affected by trends, but whether you believe this or not is up to you.
Panel = Window "Windows are considered places that bring good luck."
It looks like a checkerboard pattern, so not all of them are windows, but I think it conveys the message, "May happiness come in!"
The panels feature a variety of freely drawn motifs, including a tree of life, a sheep turning around as if sensing something, and a panel featuring a tree of life and a sheep.
I'm confused as to whether it's instinct or something I'm doing intentionally, but I'm very happy when I think about it and talk to you all (laughs).
The color is a bit uneven with some whitish and some creamy, but I think that's normal for raw wool.
I won't go into the grey areas here.

I want you to look at it from this diagonal angle, in the direction of the grain.
Like last time, I like this angle, but don't you think the beige, gray, and charcoal gray lines are beautiful?
I think it's the beauty seen from an angle that can't be seen from above.
What do you think?

Here's the problem
What is the motif hidden in this panel?
The correct answer is...
It's "wood"!!!
I would like to show you the back side, but depending on how you look at it, it may look like a different motif, so I will only show you the front side.
It is considered a symbol of life and is said to represent hope for a long and healthy life.
This one is quite large, but Layout also carries mini Gabbehs measuring 40x40cm, which might make a great gift for someone special.

I said it was monochrome, but there are actually other colors mixed in as well...
Doesn't it look like there's brown in it?
I know you might be tempted to say, "It's not monochrome!" but please forgive me as I am being honest.
This Gabbeh is a "monochrome world."

It's not brown after all, it's monochrome!! lol
Although it is a bird's-eye view, it is slightly from the opposite direction, giving it a slightly seductive look.
You can also enjoy the changes from going with the grain to going against the grain.
It seems like there are a lot of sheep looking back...

The thickness is the familiar one here!
Is it 3cm? Or not? It's a fine line, but it's a safe and secure thickness that provides firm support for your body without feeling like you're rolling around or kneeling on it!
Although there are individual differences, because it is raw wool, it has a soft and pleasant texture, and after 10 or 15 years of use, it will develop a gloss and the beige parts may turn amber. It may take longer, but it is worth raising.
What did you think of "Monochrome World"?
It's tempting to keep your interior monochromatic, but it's also nice to add some style to a warm space with furniture made of oak or teak by matching this Gabbeh.
Gabbeh has a casual impression, but it will also work well in a dressy setting.
Choosing your rug freely, like choosing fashion, will make your interior design more fun.
Next time for sure...
See you later.
