"Twins"

Hello

I'm Uchii, a staff member at the Okinawa store.

A pop-up event has started at March, located about a 15-minute drive from the store.

March has a relaxed atmosphere where time flows slowly.

I find myself staying for a long time, especially in the cafe area.

It's been raining for the past few days, and the gentle drizzle really suits you!

The mildly sweet soup curry I had during my lunch break was delicious! (I'll share the photo with you)

I hope you will try it when you come to March.

This satisfyingly filling meal is packed with plump shrimp and clams, and plenty of vegetables such as loofah!

This time we'd like to introduce you to this rug that makes a big impact!

As with the rugs we introduced in the past,

I absolutely love colorful and lively rugs!

Bread and croissants

Its face looks like a slice of bread, and its magnificent mane looks like a croissant! Looks delicious!

(After introducing the soup curry, I was completely starving...)

And these lions,

All I see is an old man wearing glasses!

The blue glasses are a nice touch!

And here's a lovely woman.

Are those feather earrings swinging back and forth in your ears?

The scarf wrapped around her head is sparkly and looks like it has mirror work on it.

Mirror work is a technique of attaching small mirrors to fabric with thread.

I was familiar with it because I see it in Asian goods stores, but when I looked into it, I found out that it originated in ancient Persia.

Among the desert people, it was thought to reflect and absorb evil.

It seems that it began to be incorporated into clothing and other items as a talisman.

It is often used as costume for special occasions, and is said to also show respect for traditions that have been passed down.

The meaning of the rug motif is also the same.

Knowing that the thoughts of our ancestors are put into it makes us feel even more attached to it.

The rubbed feel of the pile also creates a three-dimensional effect, which is one of my favorite features.

With that girl

On a personal note, I cut my hair short for the first time in a few years, and this is exactly what I look like now!

When my bangs grow out, I feel like I'm not myself.

I tend to cut my hair right away, but I always end up cutting too much and then regretting it.

You can even hear this girl say to herself, "It wasn't supposed to be like this!"

This is one of the reasons why I chose this rug.

I want to put it here!

After all, it's the living room where family and friends gather.

I can just imagine them laughing and having fun around this rug!

I could imagine children, dogs and cats lazing around alongside the lions.

That's nice and cute!

This rug is full of things to comment on and will get your imagination flowing, so be sure to come and see it!
