Hello! This is Hirai.
Once the cherry blossom season is over, new encounters and new lives in new environments will begin.
Today I'd like to introduce you to a new addition to our collection, a rug that just arrived from Iran the other day. As a former dental assistant, I've been really excited to introduce this rug to everyone!
On a personal note, before I entered the world of rugs, I was a dental assistant and worked at a dental clinic.
The dental industry is a rather unique world, with its own jargon, taking impressions of patients' teeth, pouring plaster casts, and assisting with treatment and tooth extractions.
Looking back, I had a lot of interesting experiences.
It's been about six years since I left the dental industry, but when I saw this rug I was shocked and immediately thought, "It's fountain number 7!"
Number 7...?!

This is the "7th" fountain.
In the dental industry, dentists and dental hygienists refer to teeth by number, not by front teeth or back teeth.
Excuse the sudden picture of teeth.
Number 7 is the back tooth just before the wisdom tooth.
The reason why I thought it was number 7 and not any of the other teeth was because the root of the tooth, called the denticle, was split like legs and had the unique shape of a molar.
Since we've been talking about teeth for a while now, let's get back to the rugs.
See the whole design here!

I'm curious about a lot of things.
All sorts of things come to mind and I can't stop fantasizing.
A beautiful white building with a European atmosphere, centered around the famous "Fountain No. 7."
Yes, this is the dental clinic where he pursued his dream of opening his own clinic.
My long-cherished wish was finally fulfilled and I was able to open my clinic.

Look at this look on his face.
His emotional expression as he says, "Finally, this day has come," speaks volumes about the efforts he has put in up to now.
This dental clinic is located a little way from the city center, and one of its key features is the spacious and pleasant garden. We planted lots of pretty flowers and trees in the hope that it would bring healing to everyone.

Most people don't go to the dentist unless it hurts.
When I was working, I wondered why everyone else didn't come to their appointments regularly, but when I left work, I realized that I had missed my regular checkups and hadn't gone in a year.
Now I understand how patients feel.
His dream is to create a place where people can relax and chat with friends in the garden or take a walk while they have their regular checkups.

The bright treatment space, with large windows letting in plenty of light, is also a reflection of his attention to detail. The bright and open space makes treatment a pleasant experience.

This dental clinic, which was created by a man who cares about his patients and wanted them to feel as comfortable as possible when visiting, is finally open.
Fountain number 7 is the landmark.
Everyone, make sure to go for regular dental checkups!
