When I see a rug, I often find that my impressions, such as "cool" or "cute," cannot be expressed in everyday Japanese.
When I first saw the rug I'm introducing today, I didn't want to use a common word to describe it, so I came up with the Japanese word "adorable."
Please take a look.

What do you think of this presence?
Such beautiful use of color.
At times like this, I find myself wanting to count how many colors I'm using.
What color do you think it is?
The fading was so complicated that it was hard to tell if they were the same color or different colors, but to my eyes it looks like they used about 22 or 23 colors! (lol)
Even within navy, some colors are a little different than others, so there are quite a few colors to choose from.
It's not just colorful
There are many different kinds of colorful rugs, but the appeal of this rug is the complexity of the colors that I mentioned earlier.
It's a unique color that has been created over time, making you wonder what color it is.
I wonder what color this rug was when it was first made, and what color it will become over time.

It must have been difficult for the weaver to use so many different colored threads.
At the preparation stage, I think they probably wanted to say, "Wow, isn't that too much?"
Or perhaps the threads were collected under the instruction, "Bring as many colors as you can."
Was the order of the colors calculated, or was it just Ori-san's sensibility?
If it's a matter of sensibility, then I applaud Oriko's spirit of challenge and sense.
Tickle the Japanese spirit
This tribal rug has a lustrous and elegant atmosphere, exuding a Japanese, fantastical beauty.
The dark blue background color evokes many things: the depths of the ocean, the late night sky, and even the distant universe.
It reminded me of the goldfish swimming in the colorful tanks I saw at the Art Aquarium exhibition.
What does it remind you of?
reverse eye Order
Actually, there are many elaborate medallions
Two large medallions lined up.
Do they look like different colored twins?
At first glance, they look like the same design, but this is an advanced spot-the-difference game.
for example…
The border design is slightly different.
The shapes around here are also quite detailed!
Weaver is a true artisan who pays attention to every detail, it's wonderful!
Both designs are symmetrical.
A smart bird with its buttocks touching and an eight-pointed star in the middle.
Birds represent "messengers of God" and eight-pointed stars represent "happiness," so they seem to bring good fortune while exuding a sense of mystery.
Multicolored interior
For those who are not used to it, color coordination in interior design can be a bit of a challenge, and it can be hard to know how to combine colors.
However, I think there are many people who don't want to just collect safe colors, but want to create a unique interior and add some fun to it.
What I would like to recommend for such a situation is a rug! (This sounds like a sudden TV shopping commentary.)
Speaking as someone who actually combines a basic interior with a relatively colorful tribal rug, I can say that the color of the rug rarely stands out in a bad way in the interior.
In fact, it has a great effect of bringing things together, and even if it seems a little flashy, it has a more sophisticated effect.

If you don't want to make a mistake, we recommend trying out playing with colors with rugs.
I know I'm being persistent, but it's not just colorful.
It's decorative yet elegant.
It combines elegance and sophistication.
There are so many variations of Japanese-style auxiliary verbs that it's hard to summarise them in one word (lol).
What did you think?
I am once again impressed by the beautiful colors used in this rug and the amount of beautiful Japanese inscriptions.
Add some color to your life and you too will become a Yamato Nadeshiko.
