The rug in the city boy's room
Hello. This is staff member I.
I'd like to introduce one of our recent arrivals, a rug that caught my eye.
Rugs are here!

"There's a lot of something there"
The painting is filled with colorful motifs on a pitch black background. The size is a little small, 147 x 113 cm.
It's incomplete, cluttered, and I'm wondering how on earth I can use it... If that's what you're thinking, then please bear with me for a while as I begin my fantasy.
Why Staff I is interested in this rug
Because it looks like something a city boy wearing Converse would wear.
When I saw this rug, I imagined the rooms of the discerning city boys featured in recent lifestyle magazines.
The charm of their interior design lies in its naturalness. The room is cluttered with a variety of items, from clothes to books to miscellaneous items. The rug, placed carelessly in an ordinary place, creates a relaxed atmosphere in the room, combined with its loose design.
The appeal of this rug is the atmosphere that seems to affirm the existence of many things.

The coloring is a bit unusual
It's like an Invaders game. Doesn't this rug bring back the excitement of childhood?
The pop color scheme on a black background is actually not something you see often in wool tribal rugs. This slightly rare feel will tickle the hearts of those who love unusual things.
My favorite motif
Another plus point is that the design is lively and packed with many elements. The motifs packed into the picture plane include many different animals and birds (including my favorite white fluffy bird!), a flower with a human face, and a motif of wolf paw prints, which are often mistaken for flowers. The tree of life is also drawn in great detail, right down to the pattern on the trunk. It's rare to find a rug as fun as this one.
If you choose a rug with a motif that catches your eye, a favorite part, or a color that you like, you will feel more attached to it, and you will be able to take better care of it every day and use it for a long time.

Recommended size for a one-room apartment
150cm x 100cm.
It's a little too big to be an accent piece, but a little too small for a living room. You might be unsure how to use it, but it's actually just the right size for one person to sit on. In other words, it's perfect for use by the bedside or in front of the sofa in a one-room apartment.
Where should I use it?
If I were to use this rug, I would choose the most ordinary place in the house. A dead space in the corner of the living room, between the bed and the closet, behind the sofa. Looking around the room, you'll find that there are actually quite a few open spaces. By placing this rug in these spaces, you can naturally create a sense of place, just like the city boy who asks, "I'm going to make some coffee, would you like some?"
What style should I match it with?
If you want to use this rug, don't be bound by trends or interior rules, just trust your instincts.
<Cheap Chic>
This style is recommended.
The neutral wood floors are unified with white walls and curtains. The space is functionally created by combining carefully selected items, both old and new, chosen intuitively, and although there are many items, it has a sense of unity and does not feel cluttered.
Of course, this is also recommended for city girls who want to drink coffee in a room like this while watching city boys working on their MacBooks!
This rug, and many other Shiraz accent rugs, are basic yet somehow unique in their design, making our hearts skip a beat. Why not try incorporating one into your room and create your own "city boy/city girl" style?
