"Datemaki is better than flowers"

This time, we would like to take a thorough look at the ``rumored twin rug''!

These two rugs, which look the same at first glance, are old Baluchi rugs.
This is one of the few Baluchi rugs that comes in a wide variety of sizes and is a popular choice.

First, let's line up the two.
The one on the left is 73004 and the one on the right is 73005. Calling them by their numbers feels a bit lonely, so I'll call the one on the left "Yon-chan" and the one on the right "Go-kun."

I think it's the same with human twins; no matter how similar they are and how hard it is to tell them apart at first, you eventually start to notice their characteristics and differences.
The same goes for twin rugs; one day you suddenly realize how to tell them apart! We'll be introducing the differences between the twins and their respective characteristics.

Datemaki spiral

The biggest way to tell the twins apart is the four yellow spirals on Yong-chan's border (outer frame).

I noticed that there were four yellow swirls on Yong-chan's top, two on the outside, and two on the inside of his bottom.

This spiral is called the Datemaki type, and the presence or absence of this Datemaki is the key to distinguishing the two. You'll quickly learn which is which.

I was able to tell them apart surprisingly easily, but I'm sure there are other interesting differences between the twins, so I'll keep looking for them.

Quite a large family

The exciting thing about these rugs is that there are so many birds!
Since I had the chance, I decided to count, not the members of the Wild Bird Society of Japan, but myself, how many birds Yong-chan and Go-kun have.

Yong-chan 162 birds!

Go-kun 188 birds!

Well, Gou is slightly bigger, so let's say they're evenly matched.

Even so, Yong-chan and Go-kun are quite a large family.
Among them, I'd like to introduce some of my favorite birds.

My favorite bird who lives in Yon-chan's Datemaki is...

Part 1

Tori-chan is a haughty, well-built character wearing a pink ribbon. The contrast between his impressive pigeon chest and the cute ribbon is irresistible!

Part 2

This peacock-like bird has beautiful feathers. The three colors, like foreign toothpaste, really caught my eye!

On the other hand, Gou's favorite bird lives there...

Part 1

A soothing trio like ducks floating in a bathtub. Kids will be squealing with delight.

Part 2

It is a peacock-like bird that was also in Yon-chan.
He's looking back so far that I'm worried about his neck.

Compared to Yon-chan, who has the Datemaki Uzumaki, Go-kun's features are still weak.
But there's still more hidden gems...

While counting the birds, I spotted the only thing that looked like a human!
We got so excited and shouted, "It's a human!" that we forgot how many birds there were and had to start counting again, but there was nothing we could do about it.
When I looked at it calmly, I realized it wasn't a person, but an alien girl. (I've never seen an alien girl before though...)

Gou's exciting points are being revealed one after another, but there's more!

Gou is about 10cm longer than Yong-chan, but here is his secret.

Please take a look under the feet of the birds lined up in a row.
Three bouquets of cute flowers that look like carnations, as if to say, "Thank you, Mom."
The bouquet was 10cm longer because it was woven into it. What a kind child.

What did you think of Gou's hidden gem?

Although they look similar, the twins are completely different, so you can choose which one you like and enjoy them to the fullest in your living room or dining room.If you're a sentimental person who thinks, "No, it would be too cruel to separate the twins...", you could also try styling the two of them side by side like one big rug.

Twin rugs are also highly recommended for those who want to coordinate the atmosphere of their living room and dining room with rugs of the same color and style!
