How I found out about Layout
About eight years ago, I traveled to Turkey and bought a rug there. Out of the many Turkish carpet patterns, I chose a Gabbeh (I didn't know the name at the time). I loved the cute, warm design, and placed it at the foot of my bed, where it became my favorite. The other day, I happened upon it while strolling around with a friend at RISE in Futako Tamagawa, where my friend bought a rug for her son and his wife. I was curious, but left the store, and later returned with my husband, who had traveled to Turkey with me.
What made you want a rug?
As I wrote above, I really liked the rug I bought on my trip to Turkey. This time, I knew I could use it as a cushion for my chair, so I bought it. This size is easy to buy.
The deciding factor in choosing the rug
I thought it would look lovely on a dining chair, and it seemed like it would be easy to purchase at this size.
When I actually sat on it, it felt nice to the touch, and I was worried that the fur would become flat, but the staff member carefully explained that this was not a problem. They also gave me easy-to-understand instructions on how to care for it, so I felt like I could use it every day without worry. Even I, who am lazy, thought it would be fine.

My impressions after laying the rug
The room became brighter and more adorable.
I used to put a cushion on the chair, but as it got older, the cushion would get worn out and flat, and I had to buy a new one every time. This one is sturdy, warm, and comfortable to sit on. I think I'll be able to use it for a long time. I really like it.
