How I found out about Layout
I happened to be passing by a pop-up store and it looked so lovely that I decided to stop in.
What made you want a rug?
About four years ago, I happened to walk into a small Persian carpet shop run by a local person, and that's where I learned about the charm of Gabbeh.
Since then, my husband and I have been talking about wanting to own a Gabbeh rug someday.
The deciding factor in choosing the rug
I was able to freely choose from a wide selection of rugs. The staff were very attentive and explained to me who makes them, how to choose the right one, and what occasions they can be used for.
I like handmade crafts and things that I can imagine the background behind, so stories about the patterns of each ethnic group, the plants used as dyes, and how they have been used in the local area made each rug even more fascinating.
I'd like to start by purchasing something that is easy to use, and then eventually I'd like to buy something larger.

My impressions after laying the rug
The carpet is flashy so I was worried about the color matching, but it turned out surprisingly well!
I took it with me when I got in the car or went to my vacation home, and it instantly made everywhere look cuter and it really got me excited.

Other advice for those looking for a rug
The words of the staff were impressive.
"It takes a long time to find a perfect rug from the start. Rugs are something you use for a long time, so even if you think it's only 80 points, the attachment and memories you have will gradually bring it closer to 100 points. It's fine to spend five years looking for your favorite, but it's also fun to use it for five years and let it become your favorite."
