How I found out about Layout
I happened to stop by the pop-up shop at RISE in Futakotamagawa some time ago and bought a small Gabbeh.
What made you want a rug?
There were no patterns in the room, and it felt a bit lonely.
When opening the sideboard, I wanted something to put down as the floor was hard.
The deciding factor in choosing the rug
I had already decided on the size, so they gave me some options within that range.
The deciding factors were the intricacy of the pattern, the beautiful geometric design, and the fact that I would never get tired of it, plus the high quality of the shine.
My impressions after laying the rug
There were few pictures or patterned items in the room, so it gave the space a playful feel and made it feel more compact.
