Question 1. How did you find out about Layout online?

I met up with a high school friend for the first time in years and found out he was working at Layout. I became interested in carpets after watching the TV show "Matsuko & Ariyoshi's Karisome Tengoku," but I had the impression they were thin, uncomfortable to the touch, and expensive, so I couldn't afford them. But when my friend told me, "We have fluffy ones too!" and "We also have small, reasonably priced sizes!" it was an eye-opener. I was a little nervous about this new world, but decided to visit the store because my friend was working there.

Question 2. What made you want a rug?

The floor of the room was cold and the chairs had no cushions, so I couldn't sit there for long. Then I saw the above program and became interested.

Question 3. What made you choose the rug?

I showed a friend who works at Layout photos of my room and asked for help choosing. He showed me rugs in various colors, and I fell in love with one at first sight, saying, "It looks just like real grass! It's so relaxing!"

Question 4. What are your impressions after laying the rug?

I like to sit in a chair and read books, but my bottom doesn't hurt even if I sit for a long time! (lol) It's soft and plush, but at the same time it feels like it supports me firmly, so I don't get tired easily. I really like how it has created a "little bit of nature" like a lawn in my room, which had few colors.

Question 5. What are your concerns or worries about lag?

So far, there are no problems, but I'm wondering how much it will wear out over time. I'm also worried about whether it will be too hot in the middle of summer, but I've heard it's comfortable regardless of the season, so I'm actually looking forward to summer. (It certainly doesn't feel like it's getting too hot when I sit on it. That was surprising.)

Question 6. Do you have any other advice for people looking for a rug?

I think the best thing to do, especially for a beginner like me, is to have the store staff look at photos of your room and help you choose a color and size that matches the rest of your interior! Worries about functionality (is it hot? Is it itchy? Is it difficult to maintain?), price (is it expensive?), and design (isn't it only going to have that look you see in the homes of millionaires?) were alleviated by actually visiting the store and talking to the staff. If you're still undecided, I definitely recommend visiting the store!
