When I went to the Akasaka flea market
What made you want a rug?
We were currently rebuilding our house and were looking for a rug that would be a focal point in our new home.
The deciding factor in choosing the rug
I visited the physical store in Meguro several times while looking for a rug while imagining my new home.
Even though I found rugs I liked, I was worried because I couldn't imagine what they would look like in my new home, so I asked the staff for advice and was able to purchase the two rugs I liked after my new home was completed.
I wondered if a slightly larger rug would be better, but I really liked the color and pattern, and I thought each rug was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I bought both of them.
My impressions after laying the rug
I usually tend to choose chic (safe?) colors like gray or navy, so I wondered what would happen if I tried red or a patterned one.
When we actually laid it down, it blended in nicely with the walnut flooring and gray wallpaper, instantly giving the room in our new home a warmer atmosphere.
My dog loves it too and always relaxes on it as if it were his own rug.
Concerns and concerns about lag
I have a pet (dog), so I'm wondering what to do when it gets dirty.
Other advice for those looking for a rug
I highly recommend the Omiai system.
Once you actually lay it down, the atmosphere of the entire room changes more than you might imagine.
