How I found out about Layout

I found out about the Gabbeh and tribal rug POPUP on Actus Kumamoto store's Instagram and went to check it out. I found out about it when I searched their website because the Gabbeh and rugs were tagged with Layout.

What made you want a rug?

The Gabbeh carpet in the living room is so comfortable that I wanted one for my room too. I thought it would be nice to have one at the foot of my desk.

As I researched more and more, I began to like and be fascinated by the patterns of tribal rugs. As I spend more time at home, I wanted a large rug that would make me feel comfortable and relaxed. I could lie down on it with my legs spread out.

The deciding factor in choosing the rug

I fell in love with the tribal rug at first sight when I saw the image on their website. The dark blue and colorful pattern reminded me of the Kobe Luminarie.

After reading Komatsu's comments, I also wanted to see each pattern up close. Since I couldn't go to the store, we communicated via LINE. Suzuki was very kind and gave me advice, and we decided on the long, narrow Gabbeh together.

My impressions after laying the rug

The room feels much warmer. Perhaps because the tribal rug is old, it blends in well with the room, but it also changes the atmosphere, adding depth and making it feel very calming.

The Gabbeh was just the right size, so I placed it at the foot of my desk. I'm glad the colors matched well. Both are soothing and comfortable to walk on. My cat also likes it and has already started relaxing on it. I'd like to enjoy moving the Gabbeh around the house depending on my mood.

Concerns and concerns about lag

If I scratch it with something and the hair comes off, is it impossible to repair?
I'm also wondering how to store it if I won't be using it for a while.
I'd like to know if there's a way to keep it in good condition.

Any other advice for those looking for a rug?

I think it's best to see and touch the actual product before making a decision, but if you can't make it to the store, I recommend contacting them via LINE or email. I had a lot of fun communicating with them via LINE, where they sent me photos.

There are many products introduced on the website and Instagram, so I'm sure you'll find something you like if you take a look.
