How I found out about Layout

I saw it on YouTube, then checked out their website and Instagram, and thought it looked like a great shop, so I decided to visit.

What made you want a rug?

When we built our new house, we bought a plain off-white rug, but more than 10 years have passed since I first thought about replacing it. Originally, I was vaguely thinking about a Persian carpet, but then I came across a tribal rug in an interior design magazine and was drawn to its exquisite balance of exotic design and rustic texture, so about six months ago I started looking around for one.

The deciding factor in choosing the rug

I had the staff at Layout look at photos of my house I had taken on my smartphone, and they suggested several options that would suit the furniture, floor colors, and interior atmosphere. From these, I decided on Baluch, a Turkmen-style design that is a relatively muted tone in the classic red color scheme, with an old-fashioned sheen.

My impressions after laying the rug

When I saw it in the store, I was worried it might be a little small, but it was the perfect size. The muted colors and exotic geometric pattern blended in with the interior, and I was glad I made the decision.

Concerns and concerns about lag

I was given instructions on how to care for it on a regular basis when I purchased it, so there are no special instructions.

Other advice for those looking for a rug

The staff at Layout are very attentive, so the best thing to do is to show them some photos of the place where you want to place the rug and ask for their advice. Your encounter with a tribal rug is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so don't be shy and ask to see as many as you can. But the more you look, the more you'll want another one.
