Being particular about interior design may seem like a bit of a challenge, but if you think of it as creating a space that is comfortable for you, it's much easier to enjoy. In "Everyone's Interior Stories," we asked our colleagues at Layout to share their room-making stories with us, and share some tips for creating such a room, based on the stories of people who enjoy interior design.
What furniture should I get first?
——412 by FOURANTS Hiroki Sueyoshi's Episode 3
In episodes 1 and 2 of "Everyone's Interior Story," we heard about Hiroki Sueyoshi's love of interior design. In episode 3, he gives us his professional advice on the two pieces of interior design that you should get first.
As an aside, Sueyoshi's message to young men is, "If you want to be popular, pay attention to your interior design!" This is because interior design reflects a person's taste, knowledge, and even lifestyle.

Things you can keep even if you move
First of all, when you want to create a stylish space with minimal interior furniture, I recommend chairs and lighting. These are two things you can take with you and use even if you move and the layout changes. The main reason is that you can buy something you really love and keep with you for a long time.

Lighting is like an accessory in a room. The impression of a space can change considerably depending on whether or not you have carefully chosen your lighting. Chairs often have a sense of design, so they can not only show off your fashion sense, but are also a piece of furniture that allows you to enjoy choosing your interior.
As the number of family members or the number of rooms in a home increases, you will need to purchase more chairs and lighting accordingly. I hope you will enjoy shopping, choosing the "real" items for yourself one by one, and adding to your life as it expands.
