Hello, this is my sixth blog post! Time flies... It's important to keep going! The weather is so nice during Golden Week! It feels so good, you want to play outside, right?
I'm also a bit of an outdoors person, so there are days when I struggle, but I enjoy reading books and cooking.
I still continue to take walks to get some exercise.
If you walk at different times of the day, such as morning, noon, and night, you will see different scenery and make new discoveries, which will give you a fresh feeling.
I'm Suzuki, and I'm starting to feel like there are things you can learn if you spend your time at home in a creative way...
Now, let me introduce you to my favorite chair.
I want to live surrounded by things I like, so I collect things that I can use for a long time and that have a story.
In today's world, where things are overflowing, there are a lot of similar things, right? I'm always drawn to things that have a story behind them, and I buy them without thinking about the consequences (lol). But now I'm being careful...
There are still many things I want, but maybe I should hold off for a bit and treat myself to something! I wonder when would be a good time? Oh well... it's okay (lol)
Folding chair
A folding chair made of beech and canvas fabric designed by MOGENS KOCH!!!
Since its prototype was released in 1932, it has become synonymous with superior folding chairs.
This folding chair was born from Mogens Koch's response to the challenge of creating a chair that is easy to transport and can be used beautifully in dining and lounge settings.
This unique yet simple and beautiful chair was love at first sight.
I truly feel that it will blend in seamlessly wherever you place it.
I actually carry it around the house and have used it in the living room, dining room, and even outdoors, and now I use it for desk work at home.
The chair is stable when you sit down, and the canvas backrest gently wraps around you for a comfortable seating experience.
Open and fold as needed
The leather arm can be used as a handle for carrying.
Just having it makes you feel good!
When sitting, it becomes an armrest.
As a leather lover, I enjoy the beauty of tanned leather over time, which is one of its great points.
When you sit with your feet on the seat, the arms provide support, allowing you to relax.
The brass fittings change over time and blend in with the wood, so they don't look gaudy.
The metal rings that encase the beech wood play a vital role, supporting the seat and allowing for smooth folding.
It supports the cross-shaped tree.
This is also brass! The attention to detail is amazing!
It's hard to tell from this photo, but it's a very important part.
Me and Gabbeh
You can sit on a canvas, but a Gabbeh chair makes it even more comfortable, especially if you're going to be sitting for a long time.
I've known this dog for over 10 years, and I remember it was my first Gabbeh.
It's usually on a chair, so I've never had it cleaned...
Maybe I'll refresh it sometime soon

An old man tells his nephew, "Draw me a picture and show me!"
"That's great!" said my nephew, who gladly drew it for me.
He did a great job! He loves Tyrannosaurus! He loves dinosaurs and insects, and has an amazing memory. I'm really looking forward to his future!
When I tell them to smile, they usually end up smiling fakely (laughs).
I wonder what he'll draw next? I'm looking forward to it!!
There's still a lot to say about this folding chair that I fell in love with at first sight.
