Hello!
My name is Yuka Yamagata.
The other day, I read the fourth article by Sueyoshi, who writes a column for Same?, and I was thinking, "That's right! What can I do to keep people from getting bored?", when I came across the important thing he wrote: "It looks fun."
Well, that's definitely something that Sueyoshi-san seems to be good at! I wanted to say that, but I thought that he was right, so I'll just write this article as I please and have fun.
August is coming to an end, and as someone who hates cicadas, I feel relieved.
I have a female senior colleague who I really respect and who is currently working at the same company. She is such a big fan of cicadas that she boasts, "Of all the insects, cicadas are my favorite!"
His eccentric values, such as sticking cicada shells in his hair and playing with them by sticking a large number of them on his dog's back, have gone beyond being "put off" and have ultimately led to him being "greatly respected."
I am always amazed by her enthusiasm. She has an outstanding sense, so I would like to write a column introducing her someday.
The main topic of this article is about passion and heat, which I briefly touched on at the end of the sixth installment of this series.
As we saw from the flow of cicadas,
Yes, the theme this time is
About "heat."
This is a bit of wordplay, but I think there are several classifications for heat.
・He has a passionate way of life.
・Be passionate about the things you love.
・Speaking with enthusiasm.
・I'm passionate about things.
・I'm working hard on it.
Each one seems to have been poured into it with all their heart.
Generally speaking, it can be summed up in one word: heat.
That heat is different from the actual temperature,
It has the power to spread passion to those around you, those close to you, and those involved.
Following on from last time, the case study begins with a "baseball topic."
I often experience this moment at the stadium when this energy spreads and we become one.
When the team you're rooting for is in trouble.
Everyone seemed to be starting to give up, but then, out of nowhere, one person started clapping.
The fans were shocked to hear this,
The applause begins so loud it feels like your hands might fall off.
The entire stadium is enveloped in a single, heated atmosphere.
I'm sure the thunderous applause and enthusiasm
Perhaps this will spread to the players in the batter's box.
or,
Perhaps the fans were encouraged by the player's passionate and unyielding demeanor as he stepped into the batter's box, which led to a chain reaction of applause.
In any case, the true nature of this heat is
I think it's like a key to how I feel at that moment.
If invisible heat becomes energy and actually influences the events that occur right in front of our eyes, it makes me a little excited to think about how much power the heat hidden in our hearts has to change reality.
However, I sometimes had some doubts.
If it's really hot, is it really okay?
I wanted to write about passion and enthusiasm in my column because I feel that they make my life exciting, but there was one word that I felt was a bit off.
it is,
I got too excited. Sorry.
That's a common line.
In other words, it gets too hot,
I feel like I'm heading in a direction that is different from my true intentions and hopes.
I can't stay calm.
The heat made me feel uncontrollable.
(Oh, and when a computer gets hot, we say it overheats or goes into thermal runaway!)
By inheriting or transmitting heat and enthusiasm from someone
My cold heart and attitude changed,
I felt my heart beat a little faster,
There are moments when hidden feelings come to the surface with nuances like "I have to do it!", "I want to do it!", and "I'll do it!"
This can often give you the energy to work hard or do what you want to do.
I've always thought that it's really wonderful,
When I feel my own energy level decreasing, I intentionally go to someone who can easily spread that energy to me.
There are a few people at my workplace who are like passionate communicators, and when you talk to them, everyone feels like they're on fire and a flame is lit in their eyes, and they go back to their daily lives.
These spreaders were probably professional spreaders, so I thought they could be called heat sources, and I observed them.
This led to two hypotheses.
People who make themselves passionate by their own will
and,
A person who gets excited regardless of their own will.
There is a theory that there are.
My beloved baseball players and heat conductors,
I think he is a strong player in the former category.
At that crucial moment,
Motivating yourself and
Someone who is good at absorbing the heat from those around them and making themselves hot.
Seeing the passion of those people and experiencing the difference in my own feelings, I find it horrifying to live each day with such a cool attitude.
"Hot, hot, hot, stand up."
This is one theory found in the Baystars' fan song.
It's the song that plays when you're in a big pinch.
I thought for sure it was a message of encouragement saying, "Athletes! Don't give up, keep fighting!", but it seems that rather than words directed at the athletes, it might be a song of encouragement that the fans are directing at themselves.
Sometimes things get too heated and go in unexpected directions,
-I want to be someone who can still get passionate even as an adult-That's what I want.
