FAH Co., Ltd. Hiroki Sueyoshi's serial blog 17
17th time.
This blog was written in February 2021.
The coronavirus and the Olympic issue have been making headlines every day.
A social networking site called Clubhouse has also appeared.
Now that I'm over 35, I have more time and peace of mind, so I decided to start using Clubhouse.
The fun of connecting with strangers.
Why talk to someone you don't know?
What is the difference between this and YouTube?
Social media is no longer just for young people, and new things are constantly being created, not just for social media.
I try to be able to enjoy new things.
Be flexible and enjoy new things.
I like adults like that.
That's what I'm thinking.
Now, let's get to the main topic.
"Why do we sell interior design and furniture?"
The other day, I was watching TV and saw a boy who admired Bruno Mars on TV and went to America alone at the age of 14 or 15.
While studying dance and singing, she introduced artists who share their work with the world on YouTube.
Simply put, I was in awe of his courage and drive to jump into America at the age of 14 or 15.
Afterwards, the artist told us a story.
"I was thinking about becoming number one, so I worked hard at both dancing and singing."
One day, my teacher asked me,
"Why do you sing and dance?"
The artist replied, "I was shocked."
When I saw this, I was shocked too.
Why do I work in interior design?
Do you want to make more money from interior design than anyone else?
If you made money, what would you do?
What do you want to do to be number one?
If it were me, how would I answer that question?
I think the answer should be updated regularly.
However, I have just given you my answer.
"I want to make people happy through interior design and furniture."
I think I'll go with this one.
I have no track record, so what people say doesn't resonate with me, but at least it resonated with me.
If I can achieve this goal, I'm not that interested in being number one.
It would be a different story if Japanese people could not be happy with interior design unless they (or their company) were number one, but I feel that is a different phase of the issue.
Once that "answer" was decided, it was surprisingly clear...
Now I no longer worry about what I'm doing.
In a sense, if my outfits are copied and it makes the people who live there happy, I don't get as upset as I used to.
However, in order to continue achieving that goal, I have to continue working for the company.
If we want to keep the company going, we have to make money.
Only when there are manufacturers who provide the products can we gather the materials for interior design that will make people happy.
If the manufacturer cannot make a profit, they will not be able to make a living.
It costs money to create and promote the appeal of interior design that doesn't currently exist.
Of course, there are many things you can do for free.
As I wrote in my previous blog, "interior senryu" is one of them.
Expressing interior-related matters daily through 575.
I hope to convey the love and enjoyment of interior design from people who think about it every day.
I was able to reaffirm that everything I do is a means to make people happy through interior design.
Yes, I write this blog to make people happy.
The deadline is often delayed...
I've never thought about quitting.
Perhaps it is you yourself who is being made happy by your interior design.

SUEYOSHI HIROKI
Representative Director of FAH Co., Ltd.
Born in Hiroshima in 1985, raised in Kyoto, and lived in Canada for one year.
At the age of 20, she entered an interior design shop and was so impressed that she decided to work in the interior design industry. From the age of 23 to 35, she worked at an interior design shop in Hiroshima. She strives to be a "chameleon coordinator" who can materialize the client's ideal lifestyle and interior design, rather than catering to her own preferences.
FAH Co., Ltd. was established in 2020.
I am constantly challenging myself to make interior design fun, whether it be for private homes, model homes and rooms, or commercial (hotels, restaurants, etc.) product development.
