Staff MK's recommended ways to spend your holidays 9

Hello, this is Kumai from Layout.

We still need to be cautious, but I feel a bit relieved that the state of emergency has been lifted in some areas.

However, I was extremely saddened to hear the news today that the Summer Koshien tournament has been cancelled.

When I think about the baseball players who put so much effort into this spring and summer, I feel like I'm going to cry...

As a former member of the softball team, I loved baseball so much that I would buy three baseball magazines every month in junior high school and read the professional baseball player directory during morning homeroom reading time.

One of the best parts of summer is going home every day to look forward to the exciting Koshien games.

I hope the day will come soon when baseball players can take to the field again...!

What I want to do once the STAY HOME period is over

Today I would like to write about the top three things I want to do once the STAY HOME period is over.

No. 1: Eating out and drinking alcohol without worrying about the 3 Cs

This is definitely the number one.

We've been holding online drinking parties here and there, and we're making more and more promises to get together when things have calmed down.

Drinking alcohol separately from others tastes different from drinking alcohol together.

I like alcohol that tastes like juice

2. Going to the beach and pool

It's been cold lately, but my heart is already filled with summer, so I'm looking forward to making plans to go to the beach or pool soon.
(I'm the type of person who can't lose weight unless I make plans to go out)

I was born and raised in a landlocked prefecture, so I'm not good at swimming, but every summer I go to the beach and the pool twice a year.

After driving for over two hours each way, the feeling of elation when you finally see the ocean in sight is indescribable.

I miss the beach in Hawaii, where I went last summer.

The sea was the color of cream soda.

3rd Place: Planetarium

I go several times a year, but recently I've had an overwhelming urge to go to the planetarium, so I've been enjoying watching planetarium videos on YouTube at home.

When I look at the starry sky that seems to draw me in, I feel like I can clear my mind and it feels very comfortable.

How revolutionary it is to be able to enjoy a planetarium experience at home.
I have a hard time remembering the names of the constellations, but the voice explaining them is soothing.

I also enjoyed rock bathing and relaxation, and after spending about a month and a half enjoying time at home, I can't stop feeling like I want to enjoy outdoor activities!

I think I'll start making a list of places I want to go, things I want to do, and things I want to eat now.

I'm going to make lots of memories this summer.

See you next time!
