Staff MK's recommended ways to spend your holidays 8

Hello, this is Kumai from Layout.

It's been getting really hot lately, especially during the day.

I saw on the online news that this would be a summer like no other we had ever experienced.

Just how hot is it going to get?

As someone who loves summer, I can tolerate the heat quite well, but sometimes I worry about how high the temperature will rise in a few decades.

It is said that in 4 billion years the temperature on Earth will exceed 400°C, and that in 7.5 billion years it will become a desert planet.

By then, the Earth may have exploded into nothing.

Stars also have a lifespan.

I love talking about space, so I got sidetracked, but anyway, be careful of heatstroke.

Aroma candles and aroma oils

I was rummaging through the drawers in my room, looking for something to enjoy at home, when I came across some aroma candles and oils that I had received as gifts but had put away because I felt it was a shame to use them.

At night, I dimmed the lights in the room and lit some scented candles.

Next to the candle are fragrance beads of the same scent.

Just staring at a safe fire can calm your mind.

I've always loved campfires and bonfires.

When I went to an interior design seminar some time ago, the lecturer said, "Red is a soothing color, just like how a bright red sunset calms you down," and it certainly is soothing and helps you to become empty.

I didn't really know how to use aroma oils properly, so I looked into it.

The easiest way is to soak a tissue or handkerchief in the oil and enjoy the scent.

Right now, as I write this blog, I have a handkerchief with oil dripped on it placed next to my computer.

I keep putting a handkerchief close to my nose while typing on my computer. (It looks suspicious to an outsider.)

You can also add some to a bathtub filled with hot water during bath time, or to a mug filled with hot water.
You can enjoy it even without an aroma pot!

Perfect for loungewear

With more time being spent at home, some people may be spending more time wearing loungewear.

I want some stylish loungewear, but I always end up wearing T-shirts.

Even if you're not going out, you want to wear your favorite T-shirt.

Speaking of T-shirts, at the currently ongoing Weird Rug Exhibition, three lucky people who vote for Weird Rug will be entered into a draw to win a Weird Rug T-shirt!

This is Umaji and Reiri.

There are only two days left, so if you haven't voted yet, please do so!

See you next time!
