Staff MK's recent activities

Hello, this is Kumai from Layout.
With Golden Week just around the corner, it feels nice and warm every day.

I'm happy that it's easy to live here, but at the same time, Kumai has a big enemy...
Yes, it's the annual pollen allergy (*_*)
During this time, my eyes always get itchy, my nose gets itchy, and my head feels fuzzy.

Speaking of recent events, the Dyson that my mother impulsively bought on TV shopping arrived.

My impression after using it is...the suction power is amazing!

It has a cool look that reminds me of a lightsaber-like weapon, and it makes vacuuming with it a pleasure.

There are three levels of suction power to choose from, but I like to use the lowest setting when vacuuming rugs, as this can wear down the pile in the long run.

Today, I would like to talk about my recent business trip to Shikoku.

It was my first time in Shikoku! I visited Kagawa and Kochi prefectures.
We are planning a pop-up with an interior design shop we are affiliated with in May and June, so we had a meeting to discuss it.

However, the situation is still not safe, so I refrain from activities other than work and meals, reduce the amount of time I spend there, and travel only by car.
As a paper driver, I only sit in the passenger seat... Thank you, President, for always driving...!

Of course, I'm here for work, but today I'd like to share with you what I ate while on the business trip!

First, we arrived in Kagawa Prefecture and had lunch.
I don't need to tell you what I ate, right?

It's different from the udon you eat in Tokyo.
(People from Saitama usually say Tokyo in these situations)

The udon I eat every day is delicious and satisfying, but the authentic udon has a different firmness.
It's cheap, fast, delicious and great value for money!
I bought 10 servings of udon noodles as a souvenir and went home lol

We also had coffee in the stylish cafe space on the second floor of the interior design shop LIVLOV that we visited.
The location is great and you can relax and enjoy tea while looking out at the sea!

Next is Kochi Prefecture.
We had lunch at the cafe inside the interior design shop CARNA that we visited.
With so many stylish menu items, including pasta, sandwiches, and sumptuous salads, it's hard to choose.
It was very delicious, but I made the terrible mistake of forgetting to take a photo.
After looking at the interior, you can also take some time to think in the cafe.

And speaking of Kochi Prefecture, this is it.

Bonito! Squid! Moray eel!

I didn't really know what moray eel was, but I was curious so I tried eating it!
It tasted like chicken and was delicious, but later when I searched for images of moray eels online, I was shocked. I had no idea they looked like this...

So, it was a business trip where I was able to enjoy the local cuisine to the fullest.

I ate a lot, but I also did my job well!
Information about the POPUPs in Kochi and Kagawa prefectures to be held in May and June will be posted on the POPUP information page.

See you next time!
