Hello, this is Kumai from Layout.
This is my first blog post! I'm writing this article in a hurry.
I had the day off yesterday, so I prepared a lot of snacks and juice and watched "Prison Break" while wrapped up in a blanket on the sofa.
Wow, it was the best time!!!
I felt like a student visiting a friend's family home.
I'm an outdoorsy person, so I'm usually not at home on my days off.
Especially as we approach summer, there are so many places I want to go and things I want to do, and I was planning how to make this the best summer I could have, but I never expected things to turn out like this!
It's frustrating, so I want to somehow spend my days at home fulfillingly!
So I would like to share with you a little bit about how I spend my time at home.
① Reading
You may think it's a bit cliché (lol)
I absolutely love manga, but I'm ashamed to say that I'm not very good at reading printed text...
I decided to take this opportunity to read a variety of books.
This week's assigned reading is here!

I borrowed Drucker's book from my boss and I'm now on my second reading.
When you don't know what to think about work, or when you feel confused but don't know why, reading Drucker's books is sure to bring you some new discoveries.
"The Girl on the Other Side" was in the most prominent spot in the recommended section of the bookstore, so I decided to buy it.
For people who don't usually read much, even choosing a book can be difficult.
I'm looking forward to reading it!
There's even some manga included.
Hunter x Hunter has stopped at volume 19, so I think I'll continue reading from volume 20.
I want to break my bad habit of giving up on reading when there are too many characters or too much to remember!
② Strength training
With more time spent at home, don't you find yourself getting a huge lack of exercise?
I was really worried when I checked the Health app on my iPhone and saw that I had walked less than 100 steps...
Recently, there are many easy workouts you can do at home on YouTube.
For me, the easiest and most effective thing is core training!
But don't core training always make your elbows hurt?
I often tried to endure it by putting a towel or something under my arm, but the pain in my elbow would make me want to give up before my inner muscles would.
That's why I put mini Gabbeh under my elbows!

I believe that by summer we'll be able to play outside, so I'm going to get him in shape now!
When you think about it like this, there are so many things you can and want to do at home!
I'd like to continue watching Prison Break, but today I want to get straight to reading the assigned book. See you next week☆
