Good evening!
This is Komatsu from Layout.
I was watching the news earlier and it said that demand for international flights is expected to recover by 2024.
I've heard that once a vaccine is developed, it will be possible to travel abroad normally again by autumn next year, but since it's unclear what will happen to the airlines, travel to Europe will likely become significantly more expensive.
When will I be able to go abroad?

When we are able to travel again, one of the places I would like to go is Korea.
Until a few years ago, I used to go to Korea frequently.
Of course, delicious rice and delicious makgeolli.
I also want to go on an antique tour of Korea, which I love.

A teacher making homemade makgeolli.
They serve really delicious makgeolli. Hehe.
When I go there, he remembers the songs and sings them to me on guitar.
No, the song is fine...I always swallow the words along with the makgeolli.
The food, the drinks, and the conversation with Seongsaengnim (teacher) were all excellent and I highly recommend it.

Empty.
It's what we call a spoon in Japan.
They're a little large so you have to open your mouth wide, but they make it easy to eat curry or porridge!
The antique shop owner told me that the wooden plate in the back is about 100 years old, but I'm sure that's not true!

This is a piece by a contemporary artist. The feel in your hand, the glaze,
I fell in love with it at first sight and bought it...
I bought a pair and broke them into pieces...
I thought I'd add it next time I go to Korea, but a few years have passed...
The mistake I always make when shopping abroad is being stingy and buying something too small, only to regret it later.
If you're unsure about which rug to get, one option is to buy a larger size.
Another thing I learned in Korea is, if you're not sure, just buy it!
I was hesitant to buy pottery by an older artist, but I couldn't forget about it even after returning to Japan.A few years later, when I went to buy some, the master artist had passed away and the price had more than tripled.
This also has something in common with one-of-a-kind rugs.
I hope that we will be able to travel again someday, but in reality it is very difficult.
My hope now is that one day I will be able to drink makgeolli with Seong Saengnim's song in a truly calm and relaxed state of mind.
See you again!
