Layout's rugs appeared at the live performance of artist Yoshiko Hanzaki.
As some of you may know, the rugs from Layout performed together for the first time at last year's "Michiko Hanzaki 20 Years in Tokyo Celebration Live Stream - Gratitude, Akasaka BLITZ Final Chapter!!"
The rugs' hard work in providing solid support for Hanzaki was recognized, and they were invited to appear again this year in response to Hanzaki's passionate request.
Billboard Live YOKOHAMA
Hanzaki's first Billboard Live performance began in my hometown of Yokohama.
"As an aside, when I think of Yokohama, the first thing that comes to mind is Southern All Stars' "LOVE AFFAIR ~ Himitsu no Date ~" and Masatoshi Nakamura's "Koibito mo Nureru Machikado" (both written by Kuwata).
Yes, that was a digression."
This live performance was held in the wonderful space that only Billboard Live can offer, with an acoustic arrangement of piano, guitar, violin, cello, and percussion, which felt like a production designed to really bring out the individuality of the handmade rugs.
At the beginning of the concert, since it was being held in Yokohama, Hanzaki performed a cover of "Minato ga Mieru Oka" by Chiaki Naomi, a song he respects.
Next up was a medley of songs from their first cover album "Utaben COVER," released last December: "Twilight Begin," "SWEET MEMORIES," "I Want to Go Back to That Day," "A Good Day to Leave," and "Stranger."
Towards the end of the concert, Hanzaki passionately sang one of her signature songs, "Sakura: To You Who Couldn't Graduate."

Layout's rug looks a little nervous as he quietly waits for the show to begin.

Once the live show begins, they provide solid support to the artists. This is their true calling!
Billboard Live OSAKA
Following our performance in Yokohama on May 20th, we also performed together on stage in Osaka on June 7th.

This is their second time acting together this year, so they are in perfect sync.

Both the audience and Rag are enchanted by Hanzaki's singing voice.

The moody lighting really stands out, next to Hanzaki-san.
Hanzaki-san appears!!
What a surprise! Hanzaki-san came to visit Layout in the rain.
thank you!

I'm feeling a little nervous.
To Mr. Hanzaki and all those involved,
Thank you for inviting me again this year.
Last year, I wrote, "I hope that the day will come soon when we can all share our excitement in the same place," but it seems that difficult times will continue for some time to come.
I believe the entertainment world is no exception, so I hope you will continue to bring Hanzaki's singing voice to all your fans.
