What I'm Thinking About Interior Design Now Vol.11

Recently, I've started to like cooking.
I can't do anything particularly elaborate, but even just baking or boiling is fun enough. I especially enjoy cutting with a knife, and now I enjoy cooking more than I enjoy having someone eat it.
I want to be able to thinly shred it with a knife.
I am a beginner who wants to learn the technique of peeling apples by rotating the apple while cutting.

Recently, I've been recording and watching BS TV Tokyo's "Lunch at Famous Architecture" every week without fail, and it's really interesting.
The original work is "Walk and Eat: A Stroll Through Tokyo's Delicious Famous Architecture" by Kai Minori.
The drama is made up of an introduction to the architecture and a story section, so it's interesting to watch the documentary and drama together.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan, Murano Togo's Meguro Ward Office, and the Shirasu Residence Buaiso are some of the attractions featured.
When I heard about this show, about five episodes had already aired, and it wasn't available on any subscription service, so I hope they'll rebroadcast it. I want to watch it from the beginning.

Recently, there is another chair I want to own. Jean Prouvé's "Chaise to Bois" is a chair that Vitra has reproduced for the first time this year. It is a chair that is like a standard chair made entirely of wood. Speaking of Prouvé,

The image is of a combination of different materials, metal and wood, but this chair was made entirely of wood in 1941 due to a shortage of metal during World War II.
I like the line of Prouvé's chairs, with the back legs stretching smoothly all the way to the backrest.
I haven't seen it in person yet, but I think once I do, I'll want it even more. I don't have anywhere to put it, though. But I've always wanted a Prouvé chair.

Recently, I've been looking forward to the release of a movie called "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." I first saw Evangelion when I was in junior high school, and this year marks the 25th anniversary of the series.
It's quite moving to think that something I've been watching since I was in middle school is finally coming to an end.
It is unclear whether it will actually be completed.
There will also be a 4D screening of the new movie in December 2020, so I'm looking forward to its release at the end of the year. I also saw Mid90s recently, which was interesting and reminded me of my middle and high school days.
I wasn't skateboarding at the time, but this movie gave me a sense of the atmosphere of adolescence.

Recently, I've been thinking that a space filled with things might not be a bad thing.
I like rooms that are neat and tidy, with no more items than necessary.
I don't really like the common open kitchen where the living room and dining room are combined, and I thought it would be better to have a layout where the kitchen is separate and out of sight.
I don't want it to look cluttered and uninhabited.
I've never really liked putting up art or posters on the walls, but recently I've been thinking that it might be okay to put up posters of my favorite movies or bands.
When it comes to clothes, I currently prefer to wear plain and simple things, but I think it might be okay to start wearing things with nice graphics or band tees like I used to.
I still feel a bit reluctant to wear T-shirts with messages in English, haha.
I feel like I can wear T-shirts with messages I can relate to. I wonder what it is, it's like an older woman getting flashy!? Maybe I just want to assert myself!? I feel like I'm no longer worried about what other people think when I express that I like the things I like.

Now that I'm 40, I've had a lot of opportunities to reminisce about the past, and I'm feeling nostalgic. I'm less sensitive to trends than when I was younger, but I want to express my tastes simply. That's the same with interior design.
