Hello everyone.
It's been very cold every day, how are you all doing?
Of all the seasons, I love summer by far.
I can't wait for the blazing sunshine to return.
I can't wait any longer, so I've been looking back at summer photos and thinking about where I'll go and what I'll do this summer.
Today I would like to look back on my memories of Wakayama in the summer, when I was deeply moved by its beauty.
Have you ever been to Wakayama?
If you don't live near the Kansai region, it's probably a place you wouldn't visit unless you had the chance.
I know I might get in trouble for saying this, but I'll never know until I actually go there.
I was just wondering, "What does Wakayama have?" and honestly, my expectations weren't that high.
So you might be wondering why I chose Wakayama as my destination.
There was no particular reason, I just decided on it because it was a place I had never been to before.
But when I got there, I was so satisfied!
What shocked me the most was the beauty of the ocean, which rivals that of Okinawa.
The view was so beautiful that I parked my car on the side of the road and took this photo looking out at the ocean.
Isn't this transparency amazing?

We went fishing just a short drive from here.
I thought it would be a test of patience as I wouldn't be able to catch any fish, but once I caught one, a ton of horse mackerel followed!
In the evening, the host at the inn prepared and cooked the fish we had caught.
However, when you cut it up, it's surprisingly small...
But the taste of the fish we caught was exceptional.

Next, we headed to Shirasaki Marine Park.
The entire park is surrounded by white limestone.
On a clear day, the contrast between the blue sky, sea, and white rocks makes this park incredibly beautiful.
Diving and camping are also available.
There are a ton of similar photos of beautiful scenery no matter how you look at it.

And above all, the beauty of the sea

I tried SUP in the sea of Wakayama.
You can paddle slowly out to sea, or take on the challenging course that goes through the rock face.
When it gets hot, jump into the sea to cool down...
We spent about five hours on the waves without being disturbed by anyone until the sun started to set.
It feels like I have the vast ocean all to myself.

This time we introduced the sea, but one of the great things about Wakayama is that you can also enjoy the mountains.
Recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy nature.
If you're still thinking about where to travel this summer, why not give it a try?
