TK's daily life

It's been a while. This is Komatsu.

Since the state of emergency began, or rather even before that, I have been avoiding unnecessary outings. I have been staying put.
If I had a GPS attached to me, it would go around in circles in the same place and it would probably make a hole in it.

Lately I've been browsing Netflix and Amazon Prime.
I've been watching everything from old movies and dramas to things that I would never watch at a time like this.
The hot topic around me right now is Netflix's "Squid Game"
What a name... If you don't see it, you're missing out! (That's me.)
It became famous after reaching number one in the US charts.

If you don't like gory stuff, don't watch this.

I like Korean movies. I generally like heartwarming human dramas, but when it comes to Korean movies, I always end up watching dramas that depict strange human nature and other raw aspects. I always think they're so well-portrayed (sounds condescending).

I recommend "Gokson"
I still can't solve the mystery, so whenever I meet friends and acquaintances who love movies, I start solving the mystery of Gok Sung. If anyone has managed to decipher the dark side of Gok Sung, please let me know.
*Please refrain from watching if you don't like creepy movies.

Jun Kunimura's acting was amazing. Kook Do-won is one of my favorite actors.

If I were to introduce only these two films, I would be more of a fan of that kind of thing...

When the grandfather appears, it's all over. That alone makes me cry.
In this story, the protagonist is set to be 59 years old. It's a bit far-fetched. (Upward glance part 2)
I love the Swedish movie. The cats are just too cute.

I'm interested in the interior design and fashion of past homes.

I also read books.

I've always loved reading. I have many hobbies, so I haven't been able to find time to read books recently, but I've been rereading books I've read in the past.
Generally, I prefer books with strong human drama.
I'm obsessed with Shusaku Endo.
I didn't read it because I thought he was a really old writer, but it was really good. I like and dislike some books (Top-down view part 3)
This is the first time in a long time that an author has made me want to read more of his books.

Since the cat I lived with passed away, I can't stand this kind of thing.

I also read Korean books, and I like books written by Korean female authors.
Mitsuyo Kakuta's way of expressing herself makes me go "Wow!"
(No vocabulary at all. I wonder if he really reads books.)

I bought the complete collection of poems by my favorite author, Hiroshi Nagata, so I read a little bit every day before going to bed. It's an incredibly thick book, so if I fall asleep, it will turn into a deadly weapon that will rain down on my face. It's a bit nerve-wracking.

Speaking of which, the other day I had a great time eating a delicious meal while learning how to cook from the owner of my favorite local restaurant.
I always think that it's nice to have the time to carefully arrange food on your favorite plate and take the time to do so. At night, it's like an assembly line process of making food, eating it, cleaning up, rolling your eyes, and shutting down...
I can hear the sound of Windows shutting down in my head (Piroriro~♬).
Is it an echo?

I'm happy when I'm eating

Autumn is the season for reading and appetite...
This is how I've been spending the past few months.
This is my Another Sky. What do you think?

In my next blog, the state of emergency will be lifted and my tension over COVID-19 will be lifted, and I'll be looking forward to going on a little trip and having a thrilling experience (don't use a French name).
But I hope I can deliver it to you.

See you next time!
