Every day, I let my imagination run wild with so many attractive rugs in front of me, and there's always one that catches my eye.
This is the rug that Komatsu will be introducing this time.
It reminds me of the time when I was young and just starting to understand the appeal of rugs and was excited to learn more and more about them (there is still so much more to learn, so I'm enjoying the fun of learning more!).
I have previously introduced the "Beckoning Cat, now known as the Beckoning Rug," a fusion of a human and a rug, but this time I would like to go back to basics and introduce a similar human rug.
First, a word.
I'd like to start by saying hello.
Because there are nine people lined up looking at me.
You might think it's a three-legged race.
I was often in the middle of relay races at sports day.
Those anxious few minutes when the left and right children's feet are tied with strings and they are completely unable to move freely.
Those tense few minutes when even the slightest deviation in the timing of the call can cause you to lose your balance.
Just thinking about it makes my hands sweat.
So, with that being said, let's take a closer look at these people.
The middle part has a bit of a ducktail. The style with the bangs hanging down a little reminds me of a mischievous second-year junior high school student from the Showa era.
So this rug is from a sports day at a certain junior high school.
Above all, Yancha-kun has a stronger sense of responsibility than most people.
Although he usually shows rebelliousness towards his teacher, his competitive nature shows in moments like this, as he pulls the children on either side of him, shouting loudly.
The classmates on either side of him also seem a little nervous.
It's strange, but the red line on his head is starting to look like a headband.
So, is it correct to say that this is a rug depicting the red team's three-legged race at a certain junior high school sports day?
With that in mind, if you take a look at the first full rug, the white part of the frame around it starts to look like the white lines of the schoolyard.
He's starting to get out of control as usual (just like a naughty boy)
Let's move on to the next team.
It's a big difference from the previous team.
The guy on the left doesn't seem motivated at all.
Even though the competition is still in progress, his team, looking to the upper left, will likely lose their balance and crash into the ground.
I pictured the arm that had come off the shoulder next to mine grabbing the dirt from the ground while raking through the air. The surprised expression on the boy on my right.
Perhaps the image captures the exact moment when something is about to collapse.
I somehow felt like telling them to do their best.
This is my favorite team.
After all, the guy on the right is good looking. That's all.
Staff F also agreed that they were good-looking, so let's just say that all the ladies like their faces. They are by far the most popular team out of the three.
I can hear the cheers of my female classmates, juniors, and seniors. Am I hallucinating?
Handsome guy is fast and good at sports. He's also good at studying.
This team will cross the finish line in first place.
I can hear the cries of joy from women. I wonder if I'm hallucinating?
I can almost hear the six people from the second group saying, " That's not fair! " And yes, the world is unfair, you guys.
Women are always kind to kind, handsome men.
However, there are a lot of boys at this junior high school who have pompadour hairstyles with slightly bangs. It might be a bit of a rough school.
But they are such cute kids who take part in sports day seriously.
Of course, the softness of the wool is also a recommended point.
The beautiful colors used around it really add an accent to it.
When I showed this place around on an Instagram Live the other day, a customer said, "It's like ventriloquism."
As expected! I learn a lot from your imagination.
It's certainly Ikkokudo's style.
It almost sounds like the guy in the middle is saying, "Huh?... I can hear a voice... a little late..."
This one photo of Komatsu's RUG IS GOOD has the conversation jumping around in so many different directions that it's impossible to know where it's going to end up, but the end of the day is fast approaching.
