-NS's various daily lives-

The Allure of the Alleys

It's already been nine months since I started living in Asagaya.

Due to the state of emergency declaration, we are unable to visit restaurants as much as we would like these days.

I think everyone feels the same way.

There are restaurants you want to go to, restaurants you're interested in, but this one might be a bit intimidating!

I plan to visit when they reopen for business.

However, there may be a situation where they say, "First-time customers are not allowed." Is that even possible? I don't know!

Please bear with me for a moment.

Welcome

If you have a chance to get off at Asagaya, this is a ramen restaurant you should definitely visit!

A salaryman who probably works near Asagaya Station told me this story.

"It's delicious every time," he said.

I thought the same thing, so I couldn't help but nod in agreement.

Personally, my recommendation is the "Niboshi Tsukemen."

That's right, one of the reasons I like it is that Tokyo FM is playing. It's the radio you listen to all the time, and it naturally makes you feel comfortable.

Vegetables are here

The greengrocer next to the salon

I'm a heavy user. Or maybe not, so I'm going to declare that I'll be going there a lot from now on!

The other day I stopped by to make boiled potatoes, and I'm sure I've been there every day since...

I want to become friends with the store staff.

The shutter won't open

It's been closed for a while due to the state of emergency.

All the places on the right are restaurants, and I'd like to visit them one by one once they reopen.

The road I take to and from work is always bustling, but it's been quiet for a while now, so it feels a bit lonely.

I hope things will return to normal soon.

What on earth is this shop...?

This is actually a dry cleaning shop!

I guess it's been around for a long time.

During business hours, you can always see him enjoying conversation with regular customers.

The retro exterior and the atmosphere inside the store make me wonder if I should go in or not, as I've never been there before...

I like the way the shutters are painted.

Why?

Well, I'm just drawn to it for some reason. That's the only reason.

I suspect it might not be a dry cleaner, so I'll ask...

I believe there are hidden gems in the alleys!

An old shop, with locals having fun conversations.

As a newcomer, I will try to communicate so that I can fit in with this atmosphere.

Although it's in Tokyo, I like the atmosphere that's not that of the city.

See you next time!
