These kids are my daily comfort
My name is Suzuki, also known as NS, and I'm spending my time at home surrounded by my favorite plants.
It's fun to watch them heal and grow.
I'm also doing some hydroponics, and I'll introduce them once I've grown more.
Rugs and plants
Simply lay a large or accent size in front of your favorite plant and you'll feel happy just looking at it.
Plants may be hard to grow, but rugs are effortless.
Once they get used to it, it's not that painful, so it might be a good idea to try talking to them and raising them.
So please bear with me for a little while!

A miniature Codex in the bedroom ♪
I sometimes cut the leaves in half to encourage thicker roots.
I grow them hoping that the nutrients will reach the roots. I find myself muttering things like, "Grow thick!!"
It's hard to understand the growth...

Anyway, the name is cute!!!
The vines grew so tall that at one point they were about 30cm long.
I cleared it up around last week.

This is a Pachypodium variety with a cute name, Lamerie, but the thorns can be quite painful if they prick you, so be careful when repotting.
I plan to replant it next year or so.
It's very easy to tell when there isn't enough moisture because the plant will wilt.
Be careful, too much humidity can ruin it!
These babies are growing in the sunlight on my bedroom windowsill.

I was shocked when I saw a banyan tree in Okinawa.
What's it supposed to be this big?
Okinawa has a warm and pleasant environment, and all the plants are large and impressive, so be sure to pay attention when you go. Some of you may say, "No, it's the ocean!"
I spend time outside because I feel more alive here.

We've been together since we moved into this house, so it's been about six months or so now.
No, it might take even longer.
White and pink flowers may bloom, so I'm looking forward to seeing the changes from autumn to winter ♪
It's fine to grow it indoors, but since it doesn't get much sunlight, I prefer to grow it outside during this humid season!
I hope it becomes even more bushy.

The one on the right in the first picture is the very famous Pachira!
It's easy to grow, so it's a great first plant.
It was about 5-10cm tall, but now it's over 30cm tall, has leaves and is looking very healthy.
The second child is...
I always tend to forget, but we've been friends since I moved out of my parents' house, so it's been more than eight years, right?
Hold on, I'll remember the name! There may have been a similar episode before.
I'm so sorry!!
Actually, I recently said goodbye to my bat plant and I feel a little sad.
I was growing it outside, but it started to get sick so I just said goodbye to it.
I hope to have another good encounter ♪
There's still more I want to say, but that's all for now!
In September, we'll head to new places...
No, I'm going back to my hometown.
Next time, I might talk about the good things about Akishima and the interior design after moving, so please stay tuned.
See you next time!
