The soft, comfortable wool (sheep's hair) rug seems to attract fluffy dogs and cats. The feedback from users shows just how much they love it.

I can't let go anymore

The moment we spread out the rug, the cats rolled around freely. Perhaps cats know best what a comfortable place is...

User comments

AN: The cat seems to like it too, and it purrs the most. Lol

CH: It matches the furniture and wallpaper better than I expected, so I'm very happy! It seems my cat loves it too!

HM: We have a cat named Maru at home, and I think he knows the benefits of rugs better than anyone else. Our previous rug was made of synthetic fiber, so he wouldn't climb on it for about a month, but as soon as we pulled it over, he started climbing on it.

NT: I was a little worried because I have a cat, but as soon as I put it on the floor, he immediately lay down on it and started grooming himself (laughs). I'm so happy that he liked it too!

KT: It's always a gathering place for cats.

My Oasis

HM: My dog is also taking a comfortable nap.

SO: The dog seems to like it too, as he's already sitting on it and relaxing!

SH: It seems like it would be more comfortable for dogs to use because it's less slippery than flooring.

Everyone is having fun! However, I am a bit worried...

When you see your little family member getting so excited, you may want one, but at the same time, you may also be worried. What if it gets covered in hair? What if it gets dirty? Layout has the answers to all your worries.

Problem 1: Poor behavior

There were a lot of concerns about the mess!

KN: I have a dog, so I'd like to know how to wash it if it urinates on it.

FK: I'm worried that my dog might pee.

KY: I have a cat, so I'm not sure how much I should use the vacuum cleaner or disinfect with alcohol when cleaning up its fur or when it occasionally vomits.

AI: I'm worried that the cat will make a mess or make a mess.

Before you get too depressed, remove any dirt or moisture from the soiled areas.

Don't rub it in, as it will only spread the sadness and do no good.

First, place a dry towel or pet sheet or something that absorbs water well on top and bottom of the wet area, and press firmly from above to remove the water. Repeat the above method several times, wetting the area with water to wash away the dirt.

Once the dirt is removed, remove the moisture with a towel or other item until no moisture remains, then dry thoroughly.

If you are still concerned about dirt or odor, dilute the shampoo 100 times and lather it up with a sponge, then apply the foam to the area and pat it to remove the dirt.

Then, thoroughly wipe off the shampoo with a wet towel and pat dry.

If you are still concerned after using shampoo, we can also provide professional rug cleaning, so please feel free to contact us.

We offer cleaning services for Gabbeh rugs at approximately 5,000 per square meter and tribal rugs at approximately 6,000 per square meter.

This period is approximately 2-3 weeks, but may vary depending on the situation.

If you do not wash the entire rug and allow it to dry completely, it may cause odors and mold, so we do not recommend treating it yourself.

Problem 2: Hair loss

Hair loss is inevitable when living with a pet.

KS: There's quite a bit of cat hair on it. I try my best to vacuum it.

KW: I can't completely remove cat hair with a vacuum cleaner (because it's not a very powerful vacuum), so I use a dust roller in addition to cleaning. However, a store clerk once told me that using a dust roller to clean a rug can transfer sticky residue, so I'm a little worried about that. However, at the moment, it doesn't feel sticky at all.

YA: I'm worried that the dog's hair will shed, which means I have to vacuum several times a day, and that it will get dirty.

When it comes to loose hair, stroking your rug with non-slip gloves can help you pick up any hair that the vacuum cleaner can't remove. However, be careful not to stroke too enthusiastically, as you may pull out the hair from the rug too easily.

We do not recommend using a roller because it has strong adhesive properties and can pull out hair or cause dust to stick to the carpet.

Problem 3. Playing with rugs too much

Because of instinct, I can't help but be curious...

KY: I reserved the mini-sized Gabbeh exclusively for my cat. The pompom-like decorations on the four corners were distracting, so I reluctantly removed them again.

It might be a fun playmate for your cat.

If it bothers you, you can remove the pompoms, or we also have Gabbeh and tribal rugs without them, so you can choose one that suits your cat's personality. Of course, we can reattach them when your cat loses interest, so please feel free to ask us. In addition to the pompoms, the edges may wear out or fray over time, but the ability to repair them is another charm of handmade rugs. The pile is not looped, so it is less likely to get caught on claws, making it gentle on small family members.

Here are some comments from actual users!

Here are some encouraging comments from users who are actually enjoying the rug with their little families!

"It really makes cleaning the rug so much easier"

SK: Of course, it will improve the atmosphere of the room, but if you have a cat that vomits, I recommend a rug made of natural materials. The stains won't soak in after vomiting, and the rug is really easy to clean.

"No more hassle than vacuuming."

MK: Cat hair does get stuck to it, but it doesn't get inside and become impossible to remove, so it's not an effort other than vacuuming.

"Mopping and vacuuming should be fine."

MN: I have a cat, so I was worried about dirt and hair, but it seems like it will be fine with just wiping and vacuuming.

"It doesn't catch on my nails very much."

KS-san: This rug doesn't catch on my nails at all! I tried it out as soon as I spread it out, and it ran smoothly without any snagging!

"I think it's just the taste, so I've accepted it."

AN: I vacuum it a lot, but even if it does deteriorate, I've accepted that it's just the natural flavor that comes with age.
