Tommy, who has been the biggest supporter of the interior design industry at Layout, shares his highly subjective theory on styling as a way of giving back.

entrance
The entrance is an important place, said to be the face of the house.
It is also an important switch point that changes from the "face of the outside" to the "face of the home."
"I'm off."
In the morning, I put on my shoes and go outside through the front door.
It's a day when you feel like running out and getting to your destination right away.
There are days when you just need a little bit of motivation and a "Yes!"

"I'm home"
At night, I take off my shoes before entering the house.
It's a day when I want to quickly tell you about the good things that happened today, so even the few seconds it takes to take off my shoes is tedious.
Those days when you feel relieved the moment you step through the front door and want to collapse onto the sofa right away.

"welcome home"
When you go home alone.
When I entered the house and saw the familiar rug and the flowers displayed in the entrance, the knot in my heart unraveled and I said to myself, "Welcome home."

Important place
"I'm leaving," "I'm home," "Welcome home"
It's a place where all of these things suit you, a place that gently pushes you forward, a place that gives you a sense of security as if you're being embraced, a place where you can see off your loved ones with energy.

The ideal entrance
Although the entrance is a smaller space than the living room or dining room, we want to make the most of it.
In fact, I think this is the place where individuality comes out the most.
Placing a rug as an entrance mat in that place will not only prevent dust and dirt from entering the room from outside, but also create a special space that is just for you.
Not only that, it's also an important space where the first impression of your home begins.
The first place where hospitality begins for guests is when you visit a friend's home and the moment you open the front door, you can imagine the room and get excited.
Because it is such an important place in the home, we want to create a beautiful space that brings rhythm to life.
