Tommy, who has been the biggest supporter of the interior design industry at Layout, shares his highly subjective theory on styling as a way of giving back.

living
When I want to get home quickly, or when I remember the fun times I spent with my family, it always seems like a warm living room comes to mind.
A place where you can feel the presence of your family and relax in peace.
A place where you can relax, feel at ease and return to yourself.
A place where friends can come and spend time together, full of smiles.
The living room is a place where family and friends naturally gather and lots of conversation takes place.
A place where memories overlap
Conversations lead to memories that last forever.
When planning a long weekend trip, I put a circle on the calendar for fun.
We all got together and had fun playing games
When my older brother helped me with my homework, he seemed several times bigger than usual.
I confided in my mother about something I had been thinking about, but had kept secret from my father.

A place where families connect
And the way people use their living room varies from person to person.
Not only do we spend time together as a family, but we also often spend time alone in the living room reading a book, immersing ourselves in a hobby, studying, etc.
You can spend your time however you like, relaxing on the sofa, lying on the floor, etc. You can each do what you like in the same space.
Not only will it broaden the ways you use your living room, but it will also allow you to see what your family members are currently interested in, fostering communication and increasing family interaction.

Ideal living room
Because it is a place where many family conversations and memories are made, the ideal space is one that is bright, warm, relaxing, and where the words "I'm home" and "Welcome home" intersect.
You want to create a cozy living room where people naturally gather, as if they were part of the family.
