Rugs made by the Baluchi people around the town of Zabol in eastern Iran are characterized by their calm, deep color combinations.
Bordeaux, navy, brown, dark green and orange. Dark tones that evoke autumn create a soft and calm impression.
Four "gul" motifs, originally a Turkmen family crest, are woven into the fabric. Gul, similar to those of the Teke group within the Turkmen tribe, is often woven as an homage by the Baluch people around Zabol.

This small square rug is the outer side of a bag called a horijn, which was originally created by nomads to carry their belongings.
Every time I come across a beautiful Horijin rug, I am moved by the tribe's identity and sense of style, which even goes so far as to design their bags.
This size, approximately 60cm square, is truly versatile and multi-player.
Of course, you can place it in the entrance, bedside, or at the foot of your full-length mirror.
I've tried placing it at the foot of the kitchen sink or styling it with art in the corner of the hallway to create a perfect accent for the room.
It would also look beautiful hanging on the wall as art.

説明
Tribal RugTribal rugs are a culture that has been passed down for a long time as tools for the daily lives of nomadic people who live with sheep and goats. They are used for a wide variety of purposes, including as floor coverings, as bags to carry food and daily necessities, as dividers inside tents, and as curtain curtains to hang over entrances. They are designed for continued use, so they are highly functional and durable.
It is said that the designs of tribal rugs are influenced by all things related to daily life, such as the different cultures, climates, animals that live with each tribe and region, and familiar plants and flowers, and you can feel the commitment of nomads who seek color in their lives.
Among the many handmade rugs, tribal rugs are the ones that highlight the individuality of the weaver, and the designs that emerge from their free-spirited style are also a major attraction.
Baluchi
A tribe living in eastern Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The linear geometric patterns and deep, muted colors seem to represent the strength of these creatures who live in an environment that is harshly dry and subject to strong sunlight.
Many settled Baluchi people live in towns and villages in eastern Iran, and mothers set up looms in their homes and weave rugs in between housework and work. Lead more [close]
